The Lind Boracay

After a decade away, we decided to return to the Philippines and revisit Boracay. For this trip, we chose to stay at The Lind, and despite an unexpected family medical emergency, the experience reaffirmed why exceptional hospitality makes all the difference.

Shortly after arriving in Boracay, my adult daughter became seriously ill with what appeared to be a stomach flu. The team at The Lind immediately sprang into action, arranging a private van to take us to the emergency room and ensuring we had transportation back to the hotel upon discharge. Their prompt response and genuine concern provided tremendous comfort during a stressful situation.

Unfortunately, my daughter remained confined to the room for much of our stay. Throughout that time, the restaurant staff—especially Peter, Renz, Kenj, and many others whose names I unfortunately cannot recall—went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter and wife were well-fed, comfortable, and cared for. Their kindness and attentiveness never went unnoticed. The spa team, particularly Marje and Razel, were equally outstanding and provided exceptional service.

A few days later, we made the difficult decision to fly back to Manila so my daughter could receive further medical care. With very little notice, The Lind team quickly coordinated our transportation and made sure we reached the airport smoothly and on time.

As someone who previously worked for Four Seasons and Fairmont Hotels, I have experienced and witnessed world-class hospitality firsthand. I can honestly say that I was deeply impressed by the professionalism, compassion, and service demonstrated by everyone at The Lind. While our stay in Boracay was cut short, the care and support we received turned a challenging experience into one we will always remember.

The Lind has earned our trust and loyalty, and it will be our first choice every time we return to Boracay.

Our experience with the front desk was extremely disappointing. I want to be clear that this review is specifically about the front desk. The ground staff were wonderful—kind, helpful, and professional.

Before arriving, we exchanged multiple emails with the hotel regarding our flight details and specifically requested rooms next to each other. Despite these repeated communications, our family was assigned rooms on different floors, with the rooms located very far apart. This led to an additional discussion with the front desk that took approximately another hour before we were finally able to settle into our rooms. To make matters worse, one of our rooms was located along a hallway where housekeeping carts were parked, and the area had a strong chemical smell that made the experience unpleasant.

The most frustrating part of our stay was the handling of our departure.
We had provided our departure flight details multiple times in advance through email. On the day of departure, the front desk contacted us by phone and informed us that we needed to leave immediately for the airport transfer. We had not received any prior notice about the departure timing or instructions. When we asked about this, we were told that a letter with the departure arrangements had been placed under our door, including information about taking the hotel car to the airport. However, no such letter was found in either of our rooms.

Because of this lack of communication, we were forced to rush to pack our belongings. While we were trying to get ready, hotel staff came to our door five separate times, adding unnecessary stress and pressure during an already chaotic situation. This could have been easily avoided with proper communication in advance.

To make matters worse, while my partner had already brought his luggage down to the lobby, the front desk asked him whether he wanted to leave without the rest of our family members, who were still packing because of the confusion. We found this response extremely inappropriate and lacking in basic consideration for guests.
It is unfortunate because the rest of the hotel staff were excellent. The ground staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. However, the front desk’s poor communication, failure to accommodate requests that had been discussed multiple times, and handling of our departure and airport transfer arrangements left us with a very negative impression of the hotel.

We hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves the guest experience at the front desk level.

Amazing stay! Great location in station 1 and 5 star experience from pick up from the airport. Easy to get around with concierge happy to call a tuk tuk as soon as needed.

Ourexperience at The Lind in Boracay was absolutely amazing! The location was nice and exclusive, the vibe was so chill and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean with a great view and prices were very affordable. Our location was clean and always clean which is very important to us. Nice and quiet at night. Lots of amenities too. The gym was nice and the activities around the resort were great. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Joycelyn. She was always around making sure we felt at home. Her alone made this trip a delight. Oh and I can’t forget about Mimko! He helped so much with our check in and to make sure we had everything we needed while we waited.

Had such an amazing stay at The Lind Boracay! Everything about the experience was worth it. The staff were all so accommodating, friendly, and welcoming—they really made us feel at home from start to finish.

The hotel is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the overall experience was honestly one of the best I’ve had. It made our Boracay trip even more memorable.

Availed the romantic dinner experience. Very worth it! Jayson our waiter was very accomodating. The plan was on the beach but because if bad weather conditions we were move to a more private area.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I would especially like to recognize Leo from the front desk for providing outstanding customer service. He was professional, and friendly. When we decided to upgrade our room on our check-in day, he was able to help us and find us the room perfect to stay.

We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed our time here. The location is perfect, just a short walk to White Beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Great value for money, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for couples visiting Boracay.

Loved how close the beach actually was from the resort's main bar. Their morning breakfast buffet included so many cultural options. Had an ocean-view room above the main bar that had an epic view of the incoming surf and treeline.

Everything just feels so well thought out. The calming shades of blue are everywhere—from the pool, umbrellas, and towels to even the drinking glasses. After a few days, I didn't even realize how used to it I'd become until we checked out. I caught myself looking for that same beautiful blue everywhere we went. Funny how something as simple as color can make a place feel so peaceful and memorable.

As a mom, one thing I really appreciated was the pool layout. It was perfect for families, but it never felt crowded or chaotic. There was enough space for everyone to swim, play, or simply relax without feeling like you were on top of each other. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable.

And then there's the beachfront. Morning breakfasts with the sound of the waves, afternoons watching my daughter happily play on the sand, and sunsets that made us want to stay just a little longer. It's one of those places where you don't feel the need to rush anywhere.

Our room was amazing. We stayed in the Sea Premier and it was perfect for our family. Staff members were all very friendly and polite. They really went above and beyond to help you with anything. Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay!

We celebrated my Mom’s 81st birthday and we had the best stay!!! All staff were super attentive and giving real customer service. Big thanks to Jason for attending to us during our boodle fight dinner - it was a great experience. Will definitely come back again to The Lind!
