We recently stayed at The Lind Boracay and overall had a very enjoyable experience.
The property remains one of the best resorts in Boracay, with beautiful facilities, a great beachfront location, and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was comfortable, and we also noticed that the food quality has improved compared to our previous stay two years ago.
That said, there were a few areas where the experience fell short. Our room’s air-conditioning unit had a significant water leak, and although it was reported immediately, it was not resolved promptly after our first report. We also had an issue at one of the restaurants where my wife’s Lechon Kawali order was overlooked. After following up, the dish was eventually served but was extremely thin, overcooked, and lacked flavor—quite disappointing for a resort of this caliber.
Service overall was very good, although there was a minor lapse during check-in. We arrived early and were advised that we would be contacted once a room became available. After waiting for about two hours without an update, we returned to reception and found that other guests who arrived around the same time had already been checked in. Better communication and expectation setting would have improved the arrival experience.
On a positive note, I would like to specifically recognize Ralph and James for their outstanding hospitality. They were cheerful, attentive, friendly, and consistently made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a great time and would still recommend The Lind Boracay. With a little more attention to consistency in guest communication, room maintenance response times, and food quality control, the experience could have been exceptional.
The excellent staff. They made us feel welcome and truly provided excellent service. Top notch!
Nothing to complain about
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Lind, the staff ensured our stay was memorable and relaxing. Thank you Lind staff for ensuring our stay was luxurious and enjoyable. A beautiful place to stay!
The position at Station 1 ..slightly removed from the chaos of Station 2 . The shuttle to DMall . Awesome coffee , great food and choices . Book the Beach rooms ..Great views
Nothing
Superowo
The staff was simply wonderful and always went above and beyond, from extra towels/water, getting me tuk tuks, managing the luggage, answering questions… whatever it was, they were there ready to help). The room was extremely lovely, clean, and i enjoyed the turndown service. Amenities were great (free tote bag, comfortable and good quality flip flops, plenty of drinking water, strong water pressure in the shower). And they made getting to/from the airport super easy!
I wait for my next trip back to Boracay for another stay in the Lind!
I recently stayed at The Lind Boracay for three nights and would like to share some feedback regarding our experience.
Before anything else, I would like to acknowledge that our stay at the hotel itself was generally pleasant. The facilities were excellent, the property was beautiful, and most of the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. However, there were several service gaps that affected our overall experience, particularly during our arrival, departure, and breakfast service.
Upon arriving at the airport, we were unable to immediately locate a representative from The Lind. Admittedly, we were expecting a warm welcome at the arrival gate, similar to what we have experienced with other luxury hotels. I tried calling the transport contact number provided in the confirmation email, but no one answered. I also emailed the reservations team and was advised to look for the representative at the gate. Eventually, we had to seek assistance from an airport security officer, who helped us locate the representative, who appeared occupied coordinating with someone over the phone.
After finding the representative, we were asked to wait quite some time before the van arrived. Since we had already provided our flight details well in advance, we assumed that the transportation arrangements would have been ready upon our arrival. We then experienced another lengthy wait at the jetty port before boarding the yacht.
During breakfast, we encountered a few inconsistencies in service:
On our first morning, the hostess seated the three of us at a round table suitable for only two guests, leaving very little space for our meals. Fortunately, another staff member noticed this and proactively offered to transfer us to a larger table.
On the second morning, the same hostess offered us an outdoor table because the indoor dining area was full. After sitting outside, we decided we would rather wait for an indoor table and informed her accordingly. Unfortunately, we appeared to have been forgotten, as we noticed other guests being seated indoors ahead of us. We eventually had to approach her again before being accommodated.
On the third morning, there was no staff member stationed at the entrance to assist arriving guests. We entered the restaurant ourselves and informed a staff member inside that no one was attending the entrance. Thankfully, the staff inside promptly assisted us and arranged a comfortable table.
Our departure experience reflected similar concern
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Had a wonderful stay at The Lind Boracay. The hospitality was top-notch, and the beachfront location is simply excellent.
A special thank you to Marje from the Guest Experience team, who was always helpful, attentive, and made our stay even more enjoyable. Her warmth and professionalism truly stood out.
Highly recommended, and we look forward to coming back!
We stayed at The Lind for 9 days on a family vacation. The property itself is beautiful – just the right size, not too big, not too small.
Transportation – great start and departure
The drivers picked us up at Caticlan Airport . All transport staff (van to speedboat, then second van to the hotel) were polite and friendly. The journey was smooth with minimal waiting for both sides.
Check-in – disappointing
The receptionist, Adee, was not welcoming. She gave no introduction to the facilities (pools, restaurants, gym, kids club – important as we had a 3-year-old). Instead, she focused on what we couldn’t do and mentioned that the infinity pool might close for private events. On the positive side, Brian was extremely helpful when we asked where to buy some groceries.
Room – very good
The room was clean, spacious, with a beautiful balcony. Housekeeping did a great job tidying up early in the morning while we were at breakfast.
Dining – good
Thai restaurant: Excellent. Jeth was professional, passionate, and attentive. Food and cocktails were great. Perfect and calm dinner outdoor,
Breakfast: Plenty of good options, with tables always available inside and outside.
Poolside dining – major issues
We had three separate hygiene incidents during our first two meals at the pool:
Day 1 (early dinner): A big piece of plastic in a pasta dish. Our 3-year-old put it in his mouth and handed it to us. The server apologized and offered a new dish.
Day 2 (lunch): One margarita had a hair inside. We removed it and didn’t complain. Then, when the tuna arrived, a long hair was found under the tuna steaks. The server acknowledged it but didn’t apologize. She only removed my husband’s plate. We had to remind her that the hair was under both steaks, so both plates should be replaced.
We asked for fresh rice (garlic rice instead of plain). The server said garlic rice had a different price. After two hair incidents and no apology, this felt completely out of touch.
All items, including the recooked dishes, were charged. In most five-star hotels, basic service recovery would have meant at least a complimentary replacement dish.
Pool & beach – good
Pool staff were friendly and helpful (refilling iced water, maintaining cleanliness). The beach (Station 1 end) was beautiful, not overcrowded. Sun loungers were always available. Both pools were great – the infinity pool for sunset views and the BL-level pool with shade for children.
Tuk-tuks – efficient
Fast service with fixed station-based prices – no haggling needed.
Final thoughts
Overall, we had a good stay, but the service failures – especially the lack of an apology and the poor handling of hygiene issues at the pool restaurant – significantly undermined the experience. With improvements in these areas, The Lind could be excellent.
Beautiful Property, but Fell Short on Experience
This review reflects my personal experience during our stay in May 2026. Your experience may differ, and that’s completely understandable.
Pros
• Main pool and infinity pool are excellent
• Staff at the infinity pool are noticeably more pleasant and attentive than others
• Rooms are spacious and comfortable
• Convenient access to the main beach
• In room air conditioning works well, cleverly designed to resemble centralized AC
• Strong water pressure in both the shower and toilet
• Complimentary in room fruit was a nice touch
Cons
• Reservation process was slow, payment confirmation took over a week and required repeated follow ups
• Air conditioning in the breakfast area is insufficient and uncomfortable
• Overall service lacks warmth and feels somewhat forced rather than genuine
• Property appears understaffed, with team members often looking tired and overworked
• Staff do not consistently greet guests, unlike experiences at Discovery Shores or Shangri La
• Limited proactive service around the pool and beach, no one offering drinks or food
• Service is slow, orders take time unless you go directly to the bar and collect them yourself
• Room maintenance issues including a blocked sink and a non functional light fixture above the daybed
• Curtains do not fully block sunlight due to improper length and gaps on the sides
• Outside food policy feels overly restrictive, especially for items consumed inside private rooms, unlike policies at Shangri La.
• There was essentially nothing available in the minibar for immediate consumption, so anything had to be ordered, which often took time or resulted in incorrect items. On our first day, we ordered Pale Pilsen, but San Mig Light was delivered instead. We chose to keep the drinks as we felt for the staff, but I did call to point out the mistake. They later sent the correct beer, though by then my husband had already had enough after the first two. In the end, we were charged for all four bottles. While it wasn’t a major issue, small incidents like this on the first day can leave a less favorable initial impression.
• Food and beverage pricing is quite high, including alcoholic drinks
• No meaningful happy hour offerings, only minimal discounts
• Non in house guests are not allowed to use facilities which is understandable, however there should be an option to pay for access.
• Check in experience for an additional booking was disorganized and slow due to lack of coordination
• Internet connection is unreliable and frequently disconnects
• Waiting area for transport has poor ventilation, which is uncomfortable for both guests and staff
• Rooms lack soundproofing, noise from outside (above, below, beside the room) is easily heard. The guests above us consistently creating noise till 2-3am. We requested to switch rooms but ended up staying in our room and bought earplugs instead as we do not want to cause a lot of trouble.
• Pool area floor cleaning is frequent, but the layout makes it difficult to avoid walking through wet areas, creating awkward interactions. The staff also seemed annoyed when you walk thru the recently mopped floor areas.
• Spa experience was average and did not meet expectations for a property of this level
• Breakfast item such as taho were not well executed, texture and presentation could be improved. Should be served traditional way.
• Bed is very firm and may not suit all preferences; gave us back ache after staying for 6 nights.
• most of the time when you dial 0 nobody answers the call; there should be a separate line for guest services and reception/operator. I had to go at reception and speak to the staff as I have called numerous times already and nobody picks up the call.
Overall Impression
The Lind Boracay positions itself as a premium property, but the level of service does not fully support that image. The experience feels somewhat surface level, lacking the genuine hospitality and attention to detail found in competitors like Shangri La.
While we initially gave the hotel another chance by returning for a longer stay (i stayed here as well with my daughter in March 2026 for 2 nights, then with my husband and daughter in May 2026 for 6nights), the experience fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, this has led to some regret in choosing it over more consistent options, and it is unlikely we would return in the future despite wanting to explore something new.
With further focus on service consistency, team support, and hospitality training, the hotel could elevate the guest experience to fully match its premium positioning.
While we appreciated several aspects of our stay, we believe there is an opportunity to further enhance the overall experience and create a more consistently warm and memorable stay for guests.
Wonderful experience in Boracay. Sunsets Food Festivities...never a dull day here in Boracay. This was also where I proposed to my wife .
Great hotel overall. Made more fantastic with a great service by Mr. Keem. Definitely we will come back again next year because of him.
Love Loraine
This is our first time staying in The Lind and our family find it impressive. Attention to details, cleanliness, very good housekeeping, friendly and accommodating staff, good food (though a bit pricey) and in a quiet area of the main beach of Boracay
The beach was beautiful and service was nice as well. The hotel accommodations like transportation and activities were well thought out and reasonably priced.
The food on the beach level was not good — it lacked flavor and seasoning. But the Italian restaurant (crust) menu and food was quite good
מלון מצוין
We had a lovely 5 day stay for my birthday. They even had a little cake for me in my room.
The location is absolutely perfect, a very short walk into the hustle and bustle. The views were stunning from our Seaview Twin room.
Cleaning was immaculate, staff lovely and welcoming.
Aircon worked very well in our room.
Breakfast was overall good except for a takeaway coffee incident. Lunch/Dinner options very good too.
I would highly recommend the hotel for a stay.
Pros
- Location
- Room quality and cleanlinesss
- Dining options
- Beachfront access
- Lovely spa
- Friendliness of Staff
Cons
- The deposit policy
- Not being allowed to have my breakfast coffee takeaway due to a ‘random once only policy’.
Everything - the room, the staff, the pools, the sunbeds, the restaurants, the security
Should include airport transfers on the fare
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location to escape the crowds of Boracay. The hotel is pristine, staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is excellent too. Plenty of loungers, easy access to both the beach and pools and a lovely walk along the beach to reach a wide choice of bars and restaurants (if you're tempted to explore a little). Also cannot recommend the airport transfer enough - what a fantastic and helpful service!
The balcony in our room was a little tired - paint flaking on the roof and dirt cemented on the glass. The rooms also aren't soundproof, but the pool closes at 10pm, so not too big a deal.
