Pros:

O enquadramento é calmo, mas o hotel mostra ja algum desgaste. Nao é a primeira vez que ficamos aqui e de um ano para o outro, nota-se deterioraçao aparente (por exemplo, os tapetes na porta dos quartos estao desfeitos, algo simples que poderia ser renovado sem grande custo). Enfim, é um hotel comodo, mas com standard de qualidade abaixo do preço pago.

Cons:

Nao é bem algo que nao gostei, mas mais bem de gosto pessoal. As casas de banho nao têm porta, ou seja, comunicam diretamente com o quarto. Nem mesmo a zona da sanita.

Wonderful get away in the Alentejo.
Pros:

Beautiful location. Peaceful. Rooms comfortable. Dinner and breakfast excellent.

Cons:

Staff not the friendliest. From the reception staff to the waiter at dinner time seemed like they were not happy working there. Breakfast staff was kind.
Personal choice… but the rustic wooden tree stump for a bedside table lovely but super small. Barely fit my phone. Also not a fan of open bathrooms.

Ein besonderer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen
Pros:

Das Sobreiras Country Hotel ist ein ganz besonderer Ort. Mitten in der Ruhe des Alentejo gelegen, denkt man unterwegs fast, hier kommt nichts mehr – und plötzlich öffnet sich diese wunderschöne, moderne Anlage, die sich perfekt in die Landschaft einfügt.

Besonders beeindruckt haben uns die Architektur, die entspannte Atmosphäre und der traumhafte Pool mit seinem weiten Blick über die Natur. Gerade in den Abendstunden entsteht dort eine ganz besondere Stimmung.

Auch das Restaurant hat uns begeistert. Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet und das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles wirkt hochwertig, unaufgeregt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail.

Ob Familien mit Kindern, Hundebesitzer oder Paare – hier findet jeder seinen Platz, ohne dass es unruhig wirkt. Für uns waren die zwei Nächte genau richtig, um den Alentejo mit all seiner Ruhe und Weite auf uns wirken zu lassen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig. Uns hat das nicht wesentlich gestört, aber wer sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte das wissen.

Deception in a nice surroundings
Pros:

Bad experience unfortunately. Very basic service for a 4 star hotel, and a lot of noise between the rooms and noise of running kids around. Not a peaceful place. Limited space around the pool not idyllic for relaxation. . Expensive food option for dinner. Balcony was dirty.

Bad place to relax .noise in the quiet nature

A big disappointment. This was our second time. 1st time was in 2023. From the moment we stepped into the reception. There was no good welcome,no smile, the staff who received us spoke no English. It felt as if we disturbed them. It was the same most of the time during our 6 day stay. They never looked up when we were at the front desk. This hotel has a major problem of no isolation between the rooms. It's noisy and you can hear everything. It is supposed to be a peaceful place, a getaway to relax in nature enjoy peace and quiet and the beauty of the area. However, it was full of children and babies who run around without any control of the hotel and it is disrespectful because they could at least put families with children in one area of the hotel rooms (there are separate sections) and that could help. The same goes for the pool which is beautiful but was monopolized by children and noise so this was unpleasant. The same thing was during breakfast and dinner. Be advised, this place is not what it seems! If you like noisy rooms and not much service this place is for you. It felt more like a summer camp for kids. Dinner was overpriced and only average. The noisy rooms was a problem already since the opening of the hotel.
