Pros:

Lovely pool and gardens. Comfy bed. Great breakfast.

We went for the spa. The pool was ok, but the sauna is falling apart
Pros:

It is value for money if you want a short break in the countryside with Rye 10 minutes drive. The pool is nice.

Cons:

The spa facilities are very old. The sauna is next to the toilets and is falling apart. The door doesn’t shut so it’s not very hot and the wood is rotten.
Dinner was good, but my friend ordered the vegetarian option and it was a very small portion of aubergine (half an aubergine) without any rice, or side salad or anything to accompany it. It was tasty, but charged as a main course when it looked more like a starter.

Pros:

Such a quaint & beautiful hotel. We had a lovely overnight stay. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Our room was spotless & roomy & the bed was comfortable.
The spa & gym was good & the changing facilities clean.

Cons:

Not enough sockets in the room. There was one by the television which was also needed for the kettle. There were none by the bedside which is the norm at majority of hotels. It was a struggle to charge all our devices.

Fantastic Hotel and spa especially for those with Dogs , Super clean and such wonderful staff.
Pros:

The Hotel and staff were truly exceptional.
Being totally Dog friendly is such a bonus and the Spa and treatment rooms are excellent.
