The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are really well kept.
The Spa has a varied selection of treatments although they seem overpriced for the duration advertised.
The evening meals were amazing and the waiting staff were great.
You definitely feel like you're in the country side.
The toilets, changing rooms and sauna all smelled like urine and were dirty. Definitely not what you'd expect from a Spa Hotel.
Despite a warm welcome at the begining, we felt that staff at reception didn't treat us properly.
The room we stayed in had very thin walls and you could hear people on the other side talking, going to the toilet and moveing about.
The room itself was also very small, had a weird layout and didn't look as cosy as the others advertised.
The radiators in the room didn't work and the windows didn't close properly.
Overall, our stay did not reflect the price tag.
It's safe to say we wont be staying here again.
Location, staff, rooms, restaurant and grounds
Health club needs lots of attention. Sauna was cold, steam room broken, hot tub has a horrific plastic mat that floats up and the pool was actually cold. 5th visit, the health club getting progressively worse.

We werre upgraded to a garden room which was excellent. The room was large and very comfortable with a lovely view. Dinner offered a good choice of dishes and was very tasty and well cooked. It was convenient to have a bar snack on another evening, although this has to be before 6pm. There are good sitting areas in the hotel and gardens. We didnt have breakfast. The gym and swimming pool are modern and clean.

Great location. Good dinner menu and excellent bar and restaurant staff. Clean and modern room. Pretty garden and super gym and pool. Plenty of convenient parking.
Better welcome on arrival. Water bottles in room. More tea selection in room - peppermint and camomile? We had ground floor room and nervous of leaving large windows open at night for fresh air?
The lounges and bar were nice. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly but not great at problem solving.
Room 12 is the noisiest room I have ever slept in. There was noise coming up from the kitchen below the window, you could hear everything happening in reception as the noise came up the short staircase. You could hear a dog barking and people going about their business in the next room. The walls are paper thin. The bath had a handheld shower (no wall bracket) but the ceiling was too low for my husband to stand and shower. He had to kneel (he has medical needs which makes this tricky). There was no shower curtain. I did ask to move room but that fell on deaf ears.

The views from our room were fantastic. Clean room. Lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. The food at the restaurant was very nice, too. The bed was comfortable but a bit too soft for our liking. We had a massage and we really enjoyed it.
For a spa, I would expect a quiet place. I know is a family orientated place, but there were too many kids running around and being noisy while we had dinner. Also when we had a swim in the pool, there were families with kids splashing and taking all the space, and even taking pictures!!! (There are signs saying it's not allowed). I think a spa should be a place to relax.
Also, the gym is very basic.
Evening meal was excellent.
It's a pleasant place to stay but looking a bit tired. Our room was in need of a refresh, the bathroom especially was in need of attention. Water pressure low and grout missing from tiles.
