Everything about Hotel Spadai is incredible!
The staff when we arrived was welcoming and held our bags while we wandered Florence.
Location is perfection…just a short walk to the Duomo. Everything from the train Station to the Ponte Vecchio is within a 15 minute walk.
Their breakfast spread is insane! Cristiano and Cinzia remember where you like to sit and what you like to drink. There is a table with fresh fruits, another with homemade pastries and fresh scrambled eggs, meats and cheeses every morning.
Don’t forget to check out the view from the rooftop terrace!
This is a fabulous place to call home while in Firenze.

Wonderful stay at the Hotel Spadai. My wife and I were traveling to Florence. This was our second stay at the hotel. We returned to this hotel specifically because they took such fine care of us. Everyone at the reception desk that doubles as concierge's are more helpful than could be expected. The staff at breakfast was attentive and always smiling. The rooms are appointed with wonderful local toiletries. Everything about this boutique hotel is top-notch. Thank you.

Our first trip to Florence was centered on our stay at Hotel Spadai. The hotel was a true oasis for us tourists/travelers who wanted to be pampered and treated well after a day of travel or visiting the magnificent sites in Florence. It is perfectly located in Florence which made our visit convenient and limited unnecessary taxi expense. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure our visit was memorable. The rooms exceeded our expectations with good coffee, and complimentary mini-bar items. This wasn't the least expensive of our hotels in Italy but we were so thankful for the experience!

Very nice boutique hotel convenient to many sites in Florence. Room were very comfortable with king size bed and excellent amenities especially the bathroom. Morning breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

This was our second visit to Florence and our second stay at Hotel Spadai. We were not disappointed! Service is top notch, room was great, and of course the breakfast was OUTSTANDING! The location is so very convenient. I'm not sure if we'll return to Florence a third time, but if we do, we know where to stay!

The location was ideal. It was walking distance to everything. The atmosphere in the hotel was calm and welcoming. The room was amazing. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. After a day of walking and sightseeing, it was so nice to know that we would be returning to a beautiful room with a very comfy bed. I highly recommend Hotel Spadai for a stay in beautiful Florence.

The hotel is in an ideal location. The entire staff from the front desk staff to the restaurant and bar staff were excellent. The room was very nice. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at Hotel Spadia in Florence. It is walking distance to The Duomo (1 minute walk). You can get a cab to the front door of the hotel from the train station (another reviewer said this was not possible but that is inaccurate). The room has a stocked mini-fridge (included) with drinks and snacks. The included breakfast is great and you can get cooked to order omelettes, fried eggs, etc. The hotel is located centrally and many historic sights are within walking distance. We walked everywhere. There is a rooftop access point in the hotel with a view of The Duomo. We also stayed at their sister hotel, Hotel Artemide, in Rome with the same amenities.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Great location, extremely clean and modern rooms. They are also larger than other ones I have stayed at in Italy. Service was also excellent. And lastly there’s the free mini bar in your room. Yes free. And free, huge breakfast each morning.

Excellent hotel, 150 yards from the Duomo. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. Staff is fantastic, super friendly and everyone had a least a little English, at least enough to communicate. Best bed linens to be found, we had great nights rest every day. The included breakfast was also outstanding. We enjoyed a Spa appointment, wish we could have included a massage, but that was not available. Steam shower and sauna were great to rejuvenate after 8 miles of walking in Florence.

We will be back again.
