Pros:

We saw macaws right nearby in the morning, and the location was great, right next to the park! The staff was also great, and had plenty of advice and recommendations for us. Also, the pizza at the restaurant is quite good.

Pros:

In gärtnerisch gepflegter Anlage am Hang mit Ausblick über den Wald, Vogel- und Affenkonzert am Morgen. Höhepunkt: die Scharlacharas beim Frühstück! Die Landstraße ist weit genug entfernt, dass man LKWs nicht mehr hört. Schönes Zimmer. Gutes Essen, sehr nettes Personal!

Cons:

Viele Käfer im Swimmingpool, wahrscheinlich angelockt von der nächtlichen Beleuchtung bzw. dem Durst auf Wasser. Morgens wurde der Pool immer gereinigt.

Schöne Umgebung.

Cons:

Die Preise im Restaurant sind selbst für dortige Verhältnisse extrem hoch! Wir hatten glücklicherweise ein Auto und haben in der näheren Umgebung gut und wesentlich günstiger gegessen. Wir sind quer durch Costa Rica gereist und diese Unterkunft war mit Abstand die schlechteste. Die Unterkunft lockt mit Tierbegegnungen. Faktisch liegt Futter aus, welches von den Kapuzineraffen und Aras natürlich gerne genommen wird.

Perfecto para disfrutar la naturaleza de Costa Rica
Pros:

Trato excepcional, personal del hotel súper amable, Jessica nos ayudó con todo. Desayunas viendo los guacamayos a 1 metro. Es increíble.

Pros:

Très sympa, personnel très agréable. Les personnes à l'accueil et resto avaient bcp de travail et nus étions pas nombreux. Je ne me suis dit que ça serait bien que le propiétaire ait plus d'employeurs.

Paraíso para ver aves!
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente para ver aves y llegar a las playas y al ale que de Carara. La piscina es preciosa y el restaurante delicioso aunque un poco caro.

This a special spot!
Pros:

The young man who checked us in and out and also served our meals in the restaurant was so kind! The food was excellent too. The dining area with bird views is amazing and we loved the pool. We only stayed one night here to be closer to SJO for our flight the next afternoon but we would've loved to stay longer!! The other guests were mostly serious birders with big cameras but our kids were still welcomed.
