Some rooms were very small.
Pros:

In a good location. I like walking when I go to Fort Bragg. The staff were very nice.

Cons:

They put me in a room that was across the street from the main office. The room was tiny for the price. The heater didn’t work and the room was really cold. They tried to move me to a different room but the key lock battery was dead. They ended up moving me to the main hotel area and that room was very nice and spacious. I will not stay here again in fear of getting that tiny room again.

very dirty floor with worn bedding
Pros:

The desk man was polite and the front office was well decorated and had little things for sale. There was a nice window in the bathroom. The toilet was clean and the towels were neatly folded. There was a little basket with towels and bowl for the dog.

Cons:

The floor was filthy - so dirty that when walking barefoot after a shower, I had to scrub the stickiness and dirt off again. There are no carpets so it could be easily mopped but that had definitely not been done. We had to put towels on the ground to walk on. The bedding was extremely worn. The shower was only semi-cleaned. We stayed in a pet friendly room and a quick mopping would have gone a long way. It is rated as a 3 star hotel but it is definitely not a 3 star hotel.

It was not a safe place and not a good experience at all.
Pros:

Not much that I like.

Cons:

The owner/ caretaker was mean and have no consideration for travelers who are tired.

It was perfect for our stay. Noyo Fish Grill restaurant is closeby.
Pros:

Got a first floor room just like I requested. Clean, great shower pressure, great bathroom exhaust.

Cons:

Minimal breakfast.
