Pros:

Close to airport, easy to get into room on ground floor, I was glad not to get the second floor with luggage. Free shuttle to the airport at 3am was on time and easy to book. I was only there overnight because of my early flight so I did not use any of the amenities, arrived late and left early, But they were ablet to accommodate my fresh frozen fish 20lb box in their freezer for the overnight

Pros:

The location was close to fred meyers. The convience was nice to supplies where alaska is remote. As for the stay I would recommend. It has everything you need for a comfort stay and the staff were accommodating for my late overnight booking. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Pros:

Cons:

The room was outdated and had a bad smell. The bed was old and very uncomfortable. After spending one night there, I wanted to leave immediately.

Nothing staff was very rude and said I could go into the room but he was going to be sure to watch the camera and ensure I don’t bring an extra guess ?

Clean and convenient
Pros:

Super super clean, and a very comfy bed. Very close to the airport, and the shuttle was very convenient - they picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the train station the next morning. Being walking distance to Fred Myers was also handy.

Cons:

The room was itty bitty, barely enough space to fit my bag between the bed and the wall. But it was very clean and comfy so it was not really an issue for me.

Nice property and great staff.
Pros:

The golden north inn is located near the airport of Faibanks. They provide an airport shuttle 24 hours a day, though you do need to call them to get the service. There is also a continental breakfast served, as of my stay, from 7am - 11am, with a potential to have an exception if you ask the staff the previous night. The room I stayed in was small, but I was traveling alone so this was not a concern.

Pay the extra money to stay at a nicer place unless you want to be creeped out.

The price was low

Cons:

The room was strange. sleeping area was too claustrophobic. The mattress on the bed HAD to be 100 years old...the most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep in. Floor under the toilet was rotten and spongy. TV didn't work until we complained 3 times about it. The shuttle wasn't working so they hired us a taxi.

For one night, the staff made up for the shortcomings of the room.
Pros:

The staff were excellent! They were kind enough to pick us up at the airport and when we had difficulty with the room, they were understanding and helpful. The breakfast was also fresh and tasty, a well-curated selection of options. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, too.

Cons:

The screens did not fit the windows and it is very mosquitoey in Fairbanks in summer … and the AC unit made a racket so it was very hard to sleep. Additionally the door did not latch closed fully so we couldn’t lock the door without throwing the bolt from the inside, making it hard to feel ok leaving the room with our belongings inside.

All in all happy with stay.
Pros:

Well priced. Very clean and nice green space just outside our door. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom a good size. Free shuttle to the airport.

Cons:

The rooms are very tiny. Planes come into land directly overhead. Which was a shock! But having said that we did not find it noisy during the night.
