Perfect stay in a perfect location!
Pros:

We had a double queen bed room for a party of 3 people for a one night stay in St. John's. The room was nicely decorated, very spacious and clean (I am very picky about hotel cleanliness) as was the bathroom, great shower. Property was spectacular with a unique rock design and vibe. The location and walking distance to Water Street/Duckworth Street /George Street only minutes away was perfect. We didn't eat here so no comment on restaurant nor did we make use of the pool or fitness area. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Cons:

Nothing really. Loud music in the restaurant area could be prohibitive for some but it goes with the concept of this hotel. So no fault/shortcoming of the hotel.

Cons:

8th floor get together room should have live piano player or any other live performance always empty waisted space. Charged $12 for small bowl of nuts to gave with drink ridiculous.

Quirky and comfortable
Pros:

Quirky hotel which appealed. Very comfortable bed. Staff helpful when we needed helped at 1am with the lighting. Enjoyed the coffee bar at the entrance. Loved the music (but just a bit loud!)

Cons:

Strange bathroom lighting that only goes out if you close the door and wait for 5 mins. Wakes up others trying to sleep if you want to make a nightime visit! Restaurant linked to hotel Exile - not very good and food and service average. only ate there once
