We had a wonderful stay at Hershey’s Farm Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their friendly and professional service. Everyone was helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for enjoying the charm of Lancaster County.
The food was another highlight of our stay. Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of variety. It’s clear that they take pride in both the quality of their meals and the overall guest experience.
Overall, Hershey’s Farm Resort exceeded our expectations. Great hospitality, comfortable accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent food made for a memorable visit. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lancaster area!
The location of the resort was great. It's very close to the Sight and Sound Theater. The resort is beautiful, very clean, quiet, and it had a very nice scent in the hallways. I love the connection to the cafe, bakery, shops and restaurant. I liked my room with the balcony overlooking the pond. It's a bit pricing but it's worth it. My family plan to return next year and see the new addition to the resort. Great service. I recommend this resort 100%.
This was our second time staying at the Hershey Farm Resort, and we have been super impressed both times. Right when you walk in, the people at the front desk are so welcoming and helpful. We love the king room in the main building, as it is very accessible to everything and is very updated. The pool is a great feature as well, and the breakfast is amazing! We love that breakfast is included in the reservation. You also can’t beat the location in proximity to Sight and Sound. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!
It was a family friendly environment with a clean and spacious place to enjoy with family and friends. I recommend the balcony spaced area with view to the pool.
A fabulous place when visiting Lancaster County. This years visit was scheduled with a Sight & Sound show, so wonderful to be able to walk to the show and then walk back to Hershey Farms for dinner.
We went to see the Sight and Sounds play
We had a great time and a wonderful experience as always! We have been the last 3 summers with our kids and my husband and I visit alone sometimes as well because we love it so much. The vibe is always different than other places we’ve stayed. We stay in the same room each time so when we walk in here it feels like we’re back home! The kids look forward to it every year and always beg to stay longer than the 3 nights we usually do. I absolutely love that Hershey Farm has become a core memory for them and we have that special place we always look forward to visiting.
We have been here many times in the past, both before and after the fire. This is the first time we brought one of our sons and his 2 boys. The renovations are amazing. The 2 boys loved the pool and the dining. We will definitely get them back here again.
We always stay at Hershey Farms when we go to Lancaster, but this trip the Inn room was exceptionally comfortable. The bed is amazing and the grounds are beautiful. We’ll definitely be back!
Wonderful experience at the hotel. The room was very quiet. The walk to Sight and Sound takes just a few minutes. Got to avoid the traffic coming out of there. The restaurant is one of the best buffets in all of Lancaster! My one and only issue I had was when I first walked in I told the front desk we are going to eat the restaurant and then we'll check in, (because we were hungry). So when I went to check in, they tell me I get. a 20 percent discount at the restaurant. I was so disappointed because the front desk could have told me that when I said I was going to eat first. But other than that it was a very good experience
We regret choosing this hotel, the pictures on app are totally deceiving the carpet and bathroom were both so outdated it was nasty! The first night I crawled into bed within few minutes I was bit by something and when I examined the sheet it had brown spots all over it, I brushed them all off and still continued to itch. Went to lobby and told the girl working we would like another room, she replied there weren’t any and offered us clean sheets. I took them and changed the bed myself. We come to Pa every year for Sight Sound show but we won’t be returning to this hotel.
We spent the week of my husbands 60th here and loved every minute. We have stayed here multiple times over the last 20 years and have always had an amazing time. Its centrally located to many historical places, the Sight and Sound theater and museums. Breakfast being included is a plus and also delicious. Staff are always friendly and go out of their way to make your stay special. We are already planning our next trip!
Was so looking foreward to a stay at Hershey Farm Resort with our grandchildren based on rave reviews of relatives. Was extremely disappointed in room assignment - 2nd floor, room had musty pervasive odor, extremely small bathroom , outdated tub, peeling paint and could not open windows for fresh air. We were directed to use the entrance closest to the construction expansion zone. Steps to 2nd floor, were filthy and littered with cigarette butts. When I mentioned dismay over the condition of this stairway, I was informed" they won't be that way next year". I also voiced my concern over shabiness of room and was told" the other side of the hallway has been remodeled "but not the side of our room.1st and last visit .
My husband and I always share with family and friends how great it is to stay at Hershey farm resort. We come once or twice a year, sometimes three because we love it here. The buffet is wonderful, with plenty of choices for any of the meals. The restaurant and the whole complex is beautiful with the shops and grounds to keep you busy in a casual way. Peaceful and restful but never boring!
Beautiful place. Friendly Staff. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good. Look forward to staying there again
VERY impressed, wonderfully relaxing experience. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms on the 2nd floor of the farmhouse, with windows on 2 walls -- well-lit and nice views -- fresh and clean. Though we weren't too far from the street, noise was not a distraction; the occasion clip-clop when Amish wagons passed was pleasant. Everyone was very helpful & friendly, and the food was in a class of it's own! Free gourmet buffet breakfast & 20% off other meals in the buffet or cafe IF you book with the resort directly. The huge restaurant windows give a panoramic view of the property and overlook a lake with geese. Location is perfect -- not far from anything, but not in the hub bub. Wide price range and room sizes, but very reasonable. LOVE it!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Hershey Farm Resort. The resort is beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the walking trail and also visited with the animals. The room was fine, nothing fancy, but clean and nice. The Sunday brunch at the smorgasbord was amazing! We left stuffed! Amish country is beautiful and we would definitely return!
For the price, the room was rundown and dirty. I stayed in the farmhouse, so perhaps the main hotel is quite nice and we would’ve had a different experience if we had stayed there.
The food was good, though the hours were not - how can it close for dinner at 7pm? The shops were cute and there’s a lot to do in the area, so those are positives.
Overall, I would not stay here again.
We booked for the farmhouse very cozy loved it, until the next night when there was no hot water and had to pack up all our belongings and move to a room inside the hotel which wasn't as cozy as the farmhouse. Was kinda disappointed. The smorgasbord breakfast eash morning was great everyone was very friendly.
We stayed here in the “farmhouse” section of the hotel with tickets to see Noah next door. The hotel was beautifully renovated. We were able to walk and see our show (however the gravel path was a bit icy but we were surely warned). Our room was nice and big with lots of windows, just off the main road but quiet at night. Breakfast was included and there were many options. Even Sunday brunch was included. We loved the grill that cooked made to order items! Staff was friendly and attentive. My kids were obsessed with the massive gift shop.
Appreciate the front desk for modifying one of the rooms we booked due to a last minute family death and not charging a penalty for an early checkout. They were very understanding despite the advanced purchase rate we used. Would def come back again! Perhaps we can visit in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor pool, playground and animals for the kids!
