Convenient clean hotel

The location was ideal for our requirements. The room was very spacious with a king size bed which was very comfortable

Cons:

It was extremely hot on the top floor and the rabbit warren layout of the floor prevented air from circulating. They needed some aircon units in the corridors to help dissipate the stifling effect of the hot weather.

Avoid room 115

First see what I didn't like below . Good location

Cons:

Our experience in room 115 was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the unbearable heat. Despite keeping the window open and using two fans, the temperature remained stifling. After our first night, we expressed our concerns and requested to change rooms, but this request was denied. There was no management present on site—only a junior staff member who appeared unwilling to take responsibility for the situation.

We explained that the room was uncomfortably hot, to the point where it seemed unsuitable for anyone to stay in. Even the cold water from the tap was warm. Despite our repeated complaints, we were only offered the option to move to an air-conditioned executive room if we paid an additional fee, which we declined on principle. Instead, we were provided with the manager’s email, they were not available over the weekend, which was not helpful. We sent an email to voice our concerns, but received no response.

As a result, we had to endure another night of oppressive heat. While another fan was provided and maintenance managed to adjust the window to open wider, these efforts did little to alleviate our discomfort. Ultimately, we spent two nights in a room that was excessively hot, with no management willing to address the issue or take ownership.

I am deeply dissatisfied with how Best Western handled this situation. The lack of effective management and genuine concern for guest comfort left me frustrated, and their overall response was far below my expectations.

Booked a room that said had air con. Our room was an absolute sweat box. Advised receptionist and she said you have air con, you have a fan!!! C’mon!!! Noises all night from na hi erg or water water pipes banging. Staff very defensive when went to discuss with them. False advertising on their website as they said they had air con but they are fans. Surfaces were sticky. Bed side lamps didn’t work. All in all not a great stay. Very disappointing.
