Poor night's sleep
Pros:

It had parking.

Cons:

Uncomfortable pillows. I was on the top floor and it was seeltering. I slept poorly snd was Uncomfortable. They provide a fan, but I was laid on my bed sweating.
The switch on the kettle wouldn't stay down.

Pros:

Close to Thorpe Park and free parking. Lovely views overlooking the river

Cons:

The room was so hot but we understand that it's hard to keep a room cool in this heatwave. Also breakfast everything was deep fried including the mushrooms so made it very greasy. Also would be nice to have some fresh fruit available at breakfast

Lovely little place.
Pros:

Big rooms, nice cosy fell to the place.

Cons:

Not milk left with the tea in the room. Not enough towels.

Pros:

We had a riverside view and the room was spacious and clean.
We also had breakfast and the breakfast was really nice. The grounds were nice and the hotel staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay again

Cons:

Only thing i would say is the tables at breakfast were very sticky. This was very minor but its the only thing i can fault about our stay. Parking was limited but we managed to get a space finally. First come first serve parking so get there early

Clean, nice building, good location.

Cons:

The shower. For at least 5 minutes it was a cold trickle. It warmed up eventually, but it was still only a trickle.

Also, when I arrived, I introduced myself, and was met with 'you can't check in yet'. I'd prefer to be told 'unfortunately, you can't check in yet', followed by 'feel free to wait in the lobby, or come and have a drink/something to eat in our bar'.

I don't like hospitality staff to be officious/negative.
