Wir suchen das nächste Mal eine Alternative
Pros:

Die Lage in der Wachau und zu Kloster Melk. Personal war überwiegend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ausreißer gibt es aber auch hier.

Cons:

Leider keine Klimaanlage im herkömmlichen Sinne. In der Decke sind Kühlschlangen eingebaut, aber die kühlen mäßig und es gibt keine Luftzufuhr, da die Anlage nur funktioniert wenn man das Fenster geschlossen hat. Unser Blick war eh nur auf Steine des rückwärtigen Hanges, auch nicht sehr schön. Sie angepriesenem Massagebetten war uns zu weich und wirkten durchgelegen. Morgens waren wir nicht wirklich erholt nach der Nacht.

Tolle Lage und top Frühstück
Pros:

Sehr schönes modernes Zimmer und ein Frühstücksbuffet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt.

Cons:

Leider war es Nachts außen nicht beleuchtet! Nicht der Parkplatz sowie auch der Weg bis zum Hoteleingang!

A room with a view, and an excellent breakfast the next morning
Pros:

The view of Melk Abbey across the river, the excellent breakfast, and the fact that they were kind enough to upgrade us to a better room without us even asking. Lovely people and lovely premises.

Cons:

This facility is not right in Melk but across the river, however if you have a car as (we did) it’s very easy to go over as my family did twice.
