Schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Hotel nach Hackerangriff

Das Hotel liegt nahe an der Altstadt und ein Parkhaus befindet sich in der Nähe.

Cons:

Die Datenbank des Hotels war gehackt worden, aber wir wurden nicht zeitnah vom Hotel darüber informiert, sondern erst, nachdem wir dubiose E-Mails scheinbar vom Hotel erhielten und dort anriefen. Das Hotel ist nicht klimatisiert und 31 Grad Celsius nachts im Zimmer waren trotz Ventilator belastend.

Great location. Easy walk to old town and train station. Staff were very accommodating in my request for a fan. Breakfast was good value. Standard European fare. Facilities were clean but showed wear. Room was good enough for the value. Curtains very old and need replacing. Note to others- the window opens up to street. If you sleep with window open you cannot close drapes. There is a huge light from the street filling the room. Request. Room not facing the street

The heat. Rooms are small nd stuffy. No AC. Not the fault of the facility that a heat wave is present. Just know the rooms don’t lend themselves to air circulation. I had difficulty sleeping even with the fan due to heat and light from street

Pros:

Good breakfast, clean room.

Cons:

fan didn’t work, reception wasn’t able to give another fan. 35 degree day no aircon either. Pillows pretty much empty, your head is flat on the bed even through it.

The bathroom was very unclean. The bath area was very tiny and the tub was very weirdly shaped. It’s a fall risk for sure. I didn’t even take bath there, I preferred going to Interlaken and taking a bath in my next stay.

No A/C.., so we slow roasted in the room. One of the two tower fans vibrated so badly we had to cut it off…, and the second fan was loud, rattled, and only moved the hot air around. Run down…, and VERY high-priced for no reason.
