La position centrale de l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner complet.
Petite chambre, mini salle de bain en mauvais état ( fuite d'eau, porte qui grince). Hôtel bruyant. Service café et thé dans la chambre sale.
In good location close to river and old parts of city and 10 minute walk to station.the
Unfriendly welcome on arrival. Tired and grubby reception. Superior kingsize room was small, dark, cheaply furnished. There was an overpowering smell of cleaning fluids in the very small room and despite the overzealous use of these, there was heavy black mould around the sealant in the bath/shower. We did have a balcony so at least we could open the doors to let fresh air in. The balcony doors did not lock and could just be pushed open from the outside. We were overlooking properties at the back so we were overlooked too, right into the room, and on the second floor did not feel secure due to the unlockable balcony doors.

Staff friendly, breakfast was nice, close to old town, room clean.
Bathroom was tiny, shower was very small and had 2 levels in the floor, so small I had to stand sideways to fit in(and I'm not a large person). My size 8 woman's feet could not fit in the floor space of the shower. Very dangerous to climb in and out if shower, would not be suitable fir anyone with mobility isdues/elderly.

There should be central air-conditioning, and toileteries could be better.
The two staff members we met were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s very close to the Old Town, Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument, and the dock for boats to Rigi. A great location for exploring Lucerne! The breakfast is good enough to get us to start for the day.
The room was extremely hot. It was only 24°C outside and raining, but the temperature inside the room was around 30°C, which made it very uncomfortable.
The shower stall also has no curtain or glass door, so water splashes everywhere and the entire bathroom becomes flooded after taking a shower. This definitely needs improvement.
It is a 10 minute walking distance from the train station and close to old town sights.
Good breakfast selection. Eggs and bacon and typical continental breakfast fixings.
Across from tavern. At 2am, some loud patrons hung out on the street. We had our windows open due to the hot weather.

Excellent location, easy to find. Hotel had an elevator which was great. Breakfast was good. No airconditioning, but we had a couple fans that worked well. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Rothaus.
Beds were a nit low to the floor and not the softest.
