Great location, breakfast and rooms for whole families
Pros:

The staff were lovely, the room was as described, and good for our family of 5 (would have slept up to 6). Clean, good shower. Good location to walk into the centre. About 25 min walk to Menin Gate for last post. Once closer to town, nice streets, canal etc. Beautiful town centre, cloth hall etc and lots of places to eat near the gate. We enjoyed supper at Leo’s burgers. The breakfast was excellent. Everything you possibly eat for breakfast. Great coffee, fresh juice, etc etc.

Cons:

Minor things like the flooring in communal areas needed the laminate fixing, but think works were underway while we were there to fix. Nothing that would put us off staying again.

Pros:

Clean room. Quiet area. Good continental breakfast buffet with fresh orange juice available. Modern bright breakfast area.

Cons:

The check-in at reception was rather cool and not very welcoming.
At 10 PM we had a knock on the door from another man at reception who wanted to verify if we had already checked in. Strange.

Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk personeel.De kamer was proper en comfortabel. Het eten in het restaurant s'avonds was heel lekker.
Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid veel keuze en lekker.
Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

De locatie is top. Ontbijt was goed. Niet duur vergeleken met andere hotels, maar gezien de basic kamers had het wel nog net iets goedkoper gemogen.

Cons:

Lang wachten in de bar. Barman was niet de vriendelijkste, kan beter dus.
Kamer was (te) basic, had comfortabeler mogen zijn. We konden de kamer ook niet volledig verduisteren omdat er 1 raam was waar we niet bij konden, was ook niet voorzien van rolluik oid.
Muren niet (voldoende) geïsoleerd, we hoorden veel op de gang en/of buren.

teleurstellend! prijs was niet hoog maar toch prijzig genoeg om iets meer te mogen verwachten

heel luidruchtig op de badkamer en inkom, doodse donkere kamer met weinig licht
flesje water bij aankomst zou welkom zijn
kamer was echt het minimum
ontbijt viel tegen, alle smeerbaar boterhambeleg in kleine plastic potjes
broodjes niet genoeg afgebakken, croissants waren plat en niet krokant, waterige eieren

Great little hotel. Very friendly staff and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Great location.

Pillows on the bed were very flat and uncomfortable.

De behulpzaamheid vh personeel. Het ontbijt (heel uitgebreid, ondanks het ontbreken van vers fruit!). De airco. De aanwezigheid van het restaurant.

Cons:

De gehorigheid met de bovenverdieping was niet oké. Probleem met de geluidsisolatie tussen de verdiepingen? Soms wat lang wachten aan de balie (bv als het druk is in de bar en het restaurant).

Breakfast was good

Cons:

Felt like a youth hostel. Common parts are shabby and worn. Ripped seating and vinyl flooring is torn and most definitely a health and safety issue. Beds are rock hard and creek badly. Bedding is worn and bobbling. Ladders to the bunk beds are unstable making them unsafe and unusable.
