Best Western Hotel. Has all you might need.
Pros:

Somewhat out of the centre of Lausanne between the lake and the old town. Impressive decor and comfortable rooms with air con. Limited Host tray so take your own teabags etc. Spotlessly clean. A little soulless and staff not engaging, save for young man in the bar who chatted to us. Very quiet, good lifts. Breakfast was buffet with a good selection. Food in the restaurant was disappointing. 4 of us received meals that were almost cold. The food and drinks were very expensive too. There is a bus service to the old town almost outside of the hotel and a bit further down one to the lake. The service is regular which is a bonus. Feels more like a business hotel than a visitors hotel.

A week at The Mirabeau
Pros:

The staff are always very helpful, the hotel is extremely clean, the views are wonderful and the rooms comfortable. I am a regular user and would highly recommend.

The gem of Lausanne😍
Pros:

Quaint hotel in the heart of Lausanne, we were welcomed by Charlotte, a beautiful lady with the sweetest smile. We had booked 3 rooms and were happily surprised when one of them was upgraded with the lake view🤩
We asked for phone chargers as our adapters weren't working. The next day when we were paying for the city tax, another surprise! We didn't know that we were charged for these (many don't return them) and the lady at reception informed us that she's refunding us the charge. Loved the honesty🙌 we'll definitely be back🥰

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

Very nice 4 star hotel. Upgraded to a large corner room with balcony and partial view of the lake. Gorgeous for the afternoon cocktail.
Very comfortable bed and with the curtains pulled I was able to obtain some much needed and best of the trip sleep.
I really enjoyed the hotel restaurant and dining outside.

Easy walk downhill to the train station.

Es war alles top, vor allem die Betten, das Personal und die Sauberkeit!

Cons:

Der Teppichboden im Hotelzimmer ist unhygienisch und beim Frühstück waren die Esswaren bei diesen heissen Temperaturen wie Joghurt, Müesli und Lachs nicht gekühlt und haben Magendarmprobleme verursacht.

Pros:

O hotel é super bem cuidado! É em um estilo antigo, mas tudo é impecável. Recebemos um upgrade para uma suíte com vista para o lago enorme e linda. O banheiro era muito bonito e confortável. Também jantamos uma noite no restaurante do hotel no jardim e além de muito agradável, fomos muito bem atendidos

A localização é boa, perto de um ponto de ônibus, mas um pouco distante da praia e Lausanne é uma cidade de ladeiras íngremes
