Don’t stay here, and don’t trust the photos.
Pros:

The bus stop was nearby, and the hotel was close to the train station.

Cons:

I understand that three-star standards can vary significantly between cities and countries, but in our experience, this room was nowhere near what we would expect from a three-star hotel.

The cleanliness was disappointing, the rooms had very poor sound insulation, and several fixtures and materials were in very poor condition. For example, there was no drain plug in the bathroom sink, and the bidet drain was almost completely damaged. As we used the hand towels, they were gradually removed and not replaced, meaning that on our last day we had to use the bidet towels instead.

The photos on Booking.com are also misleading. The room we were given did not look like the rooms shown in the listing, which is particularly frustrating when booking a hotel based on its photos. We will be adding photos and videos to this review to show the actual condition of the room and building.

The building itself is shared with other businesses, and the hotel rooms are located on the second floor. The common areas were extremely dirty, with broken windows and an overall unpleasant atmosphere.

Another major inconvenience was having to go to a completely different hotel to check in. This made the arrival unnecessarily complicated, especially when travelling by taxi, as we had to manage transportation between two different locations.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel. The condition of the room, the misleading photos, the cleanliness issues, and the inconvenient check-in process were far below what we expected.

As advertised, no suprises. Better than many of the reviews said
Pros:

Check in was quick and easy and they the staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Bed was very hard but after a day of walking we were too exhausted to care! The place is dated but so is most of Rome, so that really was expected.

Nice location
Pros:

Great location, fifteen minute walking distance from all the good spots. The Coliseum and Trevi Fountain isn’t far. Restaurants and bars on the same street. The rooms could use an upgrade and touch up paint, didn’t really like the check in process at a different hotel then walk with your luggage a few blocks away to the actual hotel.

It was a mess.
Pros:

The entire experience was a mess. I booked a room for one night months before coming and they took the entire payment right away. We were changing our dates and tried to cancel, but they refused any refund. We rearranged our time for this place. When we got to Rome we were first were instructed to go to some building, up an elevator and knock on a door with a note saying no one was there. We called and were instructed to go somewhere else. Trekking our luggage in 30C + weather, made it a miserable experience. Once we got to a different hotel and after hearing our complaints they decide to have us stay in their hotel, stating they had already changed our reservation. (not so sure about that)
That hotel ended up having no air conditioning. Ugh! I would not recommend this group.

vintage facility. with confusing get around.
Pros:

location of the room was fairly central to most attractions in the city at this price range. the staff at the main hotel was exceptional, too bad we didn't have them at the other building.

Cons:

we had to check in at another facility. it would be less of an issue if we didn't have to carry our bags around just for that. the building itself contained a dozen other offices, businesses and at least another "hotel". access to our place was through one building, upstairs the other one. it was very confusing even with the instructions. this was more of an apartment rental rather than hotel experience.
