Pros:

Great location and nice hotel

Cons:

Room was a fairky basuc disabled facility with no view, assumed to be because we had dogs and if was not otherwise going to go used.

Great location and view. Simple room. No Parking frustration.
Pros:

The room was small, simple, but serviceable. Great view. Great location.
The restaurant was good.

Cons:

There was no parking, so we had to find paid parking about a 20-minute walk away.
The bar shut early evening, so we went elsewhere for a drink.

Poor value for a £300 room - despite sea view

The position is outstanding. You are right on the quayside and can fall asleep to the sound of the sea

Cons:

It’s £300 a night for a basic room. Very tired and missing basic amenities like fresh towels (not literally threadbare), no robe, no shampoo or body lotion, tea bags, fridge and 1 small bottle of water for 2 people for 2 days. Just because it’s got a balcony doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have exemption from modern hotel expectations. Also there are only 5 or 6 parking spaces and if you don’t get one, you are on your own.
Classic experience at breakfast. We arrived at 9.30 (breakfast closes at 10.00) and weren’t allowed to sit by the window because it was already laid for dinner. It’s got that Fawlty Towers vibe which is quite funny.
