the breakfast was the only thing I didn't like
better food
I was put in a mobility access room so maybe the upkeep of those is different…but the door was missing the actual latching mechanism and just had a busted security lock on it. Paint all over the interior door and a bathroom in rough shape. The hotel is under renovation which is fine, but this room had was one of the roughest Hampton rooms I’ve had.
A nice place to stay. We felt safe an secure there our entire visit of our 2 night stay. That's important to us being we're elderly. The continental breakfast was great, had fresh fruit and lots of other stuff to choose from. Even had hot scrambled eggs one day with potatoes and sausage patties and little omelets the day before, hot oatmeal and cereal and juice, plus fresh hot waffles with lots of toppings. One of the only issues we had there was maintenance didn't show up when it was requested for the towel holder that feel off the wall when I tried to hand up a towel on it and the frig wasn't cold so we asked to have it looked at but maintenance didn't show up. The front desk did offer to move us but we were already settled in and didn't want to deal with all the packing and unpacking again, the disruption shouldn't have been the issue. If we didn't take a cooler our drinks would have been warm and any food would have spoiled. We did hear the frig turn on the last night we were there but still never really got cold enough to matter. A real nice clean place but the maids need to clean behind the rooms doors too, there was some sort of small pieces of trash there when we closed the door, plus get the drywall dust cleaned up from the edges of the bathroom, it just downgrades the room so much, everything else seems great.
Loved it. The front desk, Kristi was so helpful and went above and beyond to help solve a problem.
A bed to sleep in
We were transferred to 3 different rooms as none of the doors locked. The main lock. Mattress in the hallway. Renovations going on but poorly serviced
Breakfast was good. Desk clerk was great.
Cable TV service was not user-friendly. We could not figure out how to access any local TV stations. The only news we could find was from other countries, Brazil, or UK. We could bring up a channel guide, but couldn't figure out how to select a channel, other than surf one by one, and many said they were not available.
Location to the airport (walkable across the parking lot from arrivals). Helpful staff and good breakfast.
Huge room. Great shower. Nice pool and fitness room.
Watery eggs at breakfast.
Room was nice and seemed clean.
When you walk into the hotel it reeks of cigarette smoke. There was some shady looking people just loitering around the front entranc of the hotel smoking...maybe even doing drugs. I couldn't make out if some of them were employees or homeless people.
It was right next to an airport and there was no problem regarding sound levels.
Although, we never saw people smoking, the smell of pot was noticeable, especially in the elevators.
