Best stay of our vacation
Pros:

Beautiful old but well maintained building with garden and fountain, unexpected hospitality, great restaurant serving delicious fresh food (fish and meat but also for vegetarians), quiet place surrounded by mountains and forests, good location for hiking and visiting places like Carcassonne.

A destination in its own right.
Pros:

We received a nice welcome and had a very early check-in in the heatwave. The rooms were cool enough despite the heat and we slept well. Our bikes had a good garage space too. Some of the cuisine was exquisite- for example, my pavlova dessert with blackcurrant sorbet topping. The breakfast was excellent too - with a good coffee machine, freshly squeezed orange juice, a freshly cooked googy egg, tasty local cheese and more. There’s lots to interest me in the surrounding countryside including some amazing bike rides so I hope to return.

Maybe they could wash my bike (joke in poor taste - that’s never happened anywhere)

Ein Juwel mit hervorragenden Essen

Sehr netter Empfang, schönes nostalgischen Zimmer und ein hervorragendes Restaurant in einem wunderbaren Raum mit sehr guten Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Hund darf mit ins Restaurant und auch beim Frühstück dabei sein. Das war für uns wichtig.
