Good value and very friendly place to stay.
Pros:

Great breakfast, with a wide selection; comfortable room with fridge; very useful full kitchen on the upper floor which meant we could cook some meals ourselves; bike rental was cheap and available (we stayed out of season so most bike hire places were closed); very helpful and friendly staff. We were taking a late ferry and could leave our luggage at the hotel and even use the lounge in the evening before we left.

Cons:

Room wasn’t cleaned every day; the location was outside the centre (about 20 minutes walk away).

Pros:

Autoilijalle hotellin sijainti hyvä, runsaasti parkkitilaa pihalla ja lyhyt matka Maarianhaminan keskustaan. Aamiainen oli kelvollinen ja sinänsä riittävä. Monipuolisuutta olisi voinut olla enemmän. Huoneemme oli hotellin takapuolella, joten sinne eivät liikenteen äänet kuuluneet.

Cons:

Vedenkeitin ja pieni jääkaappi huoneessa olisi kiva. Tosin hotellin toisessa osassa oli keittiö, jossa oli jääkaappi ja mahdollista säilyttää omia ruokia tai juomia.

Pros:

The room was a little dated, but it was clean and perfectly fine for a one-night stay. When I explained that I would leave too early to have breakfast because of my ferry, the lady at reception initially said there was nothing they could provide, but she later changed her mind and kindly prepared a sandwich for me to take away, which I appreciated.

Cons:

The location is a little far from the centre, and public transport connections from the ferry port are not particularly convenient. The bathroom could also be improved: the shower is only separated by a curtain, so quite a bit of water ends up on the bathroom floor. The interaction at reception was also quite straightforward and not especially welcoming at first, although this improved when she offered to prepare the sandwich.
