Cons:

Categories

Cleanliness
8.6
Generally described as tidy and aesthetic in several reviews, but one guest reported a strong unpleasant odour in a ground-floor room; overall clean but not flawless.
Service
9.4
Staff repeatedly described as friendly and helpful (provided a fan on request, attentive service, flexible breakfast times, library access); overall very positive service sentiment.
Location
9.7
Consistently praised as very central and convenient (near Hauptbahnhof and the Alster) while remaining in a quiet street — a clear strength.
Room Quality
8.2
Rooms are often called stylish, cosy and well furnished, but some guests noted issues: long/dark layouts, heat (no AC), noise from upstairs, and isolated reports of a broken fridge.
Amenities
8.8
Lovely garden, library and breakfast offering highlighted as strong amenities; however lack of air conditioning, occasional non-working appliances and a locked kitchen (extra fee) reduce the score.
Value for Money
9
Many guests find the hotel a special, good-value city stay given location and atmosphere; a few felt the €35 kitchen fee or basic facilities weakened perceived value.
Food and Beverage
9.6
Breakfast is repeatedly described as excellent/a dream in the garden; a minority found the buffet/basic facilities less impressive, but overall very positive.
Overall Experience
8.7
Overall described as a charming urban oasis that many would return to; a few notable negatives (heat, smell, occasional noise or facility issues) temper an otherwise very positive experience.

We would definitely stay at Hotel Wedina again!
Pros:

The location of the hotel is excellent. So near the train station and good restaurants. Nice and quiet even though near a main avenue. The restaurant is excellent and the garden is beautiful. The service staff is so helpful!

Cons:

The rooms need more mirrors and maybe some artwork on the walls.

Halte à Hambourg
Pros:
