When I arrived at the hotel and showed my confirmation letter from Booking.com, the staff informed me that the room I had booked had already been rented out to another guest. Instead, they asked me to take a different room that cost nearly double the original price.

I believe this is unfair and dishonest treatment toward customers. Hotels that do not honor confirmed reservations should not be allowed on your website, as this can seriously damage customer trust and Booking.com’s reputation.
