Le prix trop élevé
As a hospitality professional, I would like to share some constructive feedback about our stay.
Overall, we were satisfied, and we understand that New York hotels are expensive in August. However, paying nearly $2,000 for two rooms for two nights felt excessive considering the small size of the rooms, their general wear and tear, and several items not working properly.
Our main concern was the service. With one or two exceptions, the staff seemed tense, unsmiling and not particularly welcoming or helpful. At this price level, guests should expect a warmer and more attentive experience. Improving the team’s friendliness and guest engagement should be a priority.
A special mention goes to the Ecuadorian gentleman serving breakfast, who was friendly and professional. The breakfast itself was very good and reasonably priced, and the $25 nightly food credit was appreciated.
The hotel has charm and a good location, but the condition of the rooms and, above all, the lack of warmth from the staff need improvement.

Didnt clean daily despite repeated requests. The facility fee charge is a scam. Have to go downstairs to the lobby - difficult with bags when first arrive. Wouldn't be a massive problem but for the 5-star pricing.
My daughter and I really enjoyed staying at the Walker Hotel. It's a nice location with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby, but also not busy or loud. The lobby is a nice place to hang out, and the bar and restaurant were great. Nice and helpful staff. Rooms aren't large, but well-appointed, very clean, and comfortable. Great beds - I slept better than at home!
we loved our location in Greenwich Village with awesome access to so many attractions within walking distance. Train station and bike station around the corner The free Sunday walking tour was really lovely. Staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating.
