Окно выходило на стройку - шумно. Негде сушить вещи, тк нет балкона, куда только не вешали. Старенькая подуставшая мебель. Очень плохой WiFi в номере, но это только боковые номера, в остальных получше. Хорошо ловил у бассейна, на респпшен. Бассейн требует чистки и ремонта. Плитка отваливается кусками, торчат ржавые гвозди, на бортах черная плесень. Уборка пепельница, столиков у бассейна плохая. Хотя бы 1 мусорное ведро поставьте!

Very disappointing stay – multiple issues throughout our visit

Unfortunately, our stay at Sea Phoenix Hotel in Da Nang was far below what we expected, and there were several issues that made the experience particularly frustrating.

The biggest problem was the air conditioning. In our room, the aircon was barely functioning at all. It was blowing very weakly and, rather than cool air, it was essentially blowing warm air. We contacted reception about this, expecting someone to investigate or fix the issue, but they didn’t seem to know what to do. In the end, the only solution we were given was a fan, which obviously didn’t resolve the underlying problem, particularly in Da Nang’s hot and humid weather.

We were also dealing with a separate issue in another room. While the air conditioning there worked properly, there was a very loud buzzing noise coming from somewhere outside the room, which continued constantly and made it difficult to relax or sleep. Again, reception didn’t seem able to offer a meaningful solution.

The Wi-Fi was another ongoing problem. It repeatedly disconnected during our stay, which was inconvenient, and when we reported it to reception, there didn’t seem to be much they could do about it.

The general cleanliness and condition of the room also left a lot to be desired. The sheets did not feel particularly fresh when we arrived and were quite stiff, for lack of a better description. The rooms generally looked like they had not been properly maintained. There was visible dirt buildup around the skirting boards, dust collecting in corners around the furniture, and even coffee stains on the wall around the desk area. These are not things you would expect to see in a hotel room that has supposedly been cleaned and prepared for new guests.

The rooftop pool area was also poorly maintained. The pool tiles were visibly dirty, and there were areas where tiles were missing, giving the whole area a rather neglected appearance.

The hotel looks good, but almost all the furniture is already tired, on the verge of repairs, beds and chairs creak, on the floor where the breakfast tables are wobbly and shabby, on the 14th floor the tiles are broken where the stairs to the pool and old wood are. The refrigerator is very weak and the food spoils quickly. . That's not bad, just average. Cleaning the room includes changing laundry every 2 days, changing trash bags, washing (?) flooring and towel replacement. They also add 0.5 bottles of water and coffee bags for free. On the downside, during all the rest days, the tables, cabinets and table at the bathroom sink have never been wiped clean, personal belongings are apparently not deliberately touched.

When we arrived, the bathroom was leaking, so we had to clean the floor ourselves. There was no toilet paper in the room, and we had to go to reception to ask for it. At first, the hotel refused to provide an iron, even though they had confirmed by email before our arrival that one would be available. After repeated requests, they brought us a very old iron, and only after I complained again did they replace it with a better one.

The biggest problem was the refrigerator. It had a very strong, unpleasant smell and was leaking liquid. One night, the smell became unbearable, so I went to the reception and demanded that something be done. The receptionist had to wake up a sleeping hotel employee to come and clean the refrigerator.

I asked for a refund because we could no longer tolerate these conditions and simply wanted to move to another hotel. Instead of giving us a refund, they offered to move us to another room. The second room was slightly better, but in the first room the air conditioner barely worked, and the room temperature stayed at around 25°C. The staff insisted that everything was normal, even though it clearly was not.

The reception staff spoke very little English, which made communication very difficult. The rooftop pool was also disappointing because the glass panels around it were dirty, so it did not look clean or inviting to use.

I understand that the hotel eventually tried to improve the situation by moving us to another room and replacing the iron. I appreciate those efforts. However, I still cannot leave without writing an honest review because the first three days in the original room were a nightmare.

The improvements only happened after I repeatedly complained and contacted the hotel through messages. The reception staff were not helpful and barely responded to our concerns. Only after a lot of pressure did the situation improve. Unfortunately, by then a large part of our holiday had already been affected.

Overall, the hotel was okay, but there are a few areas that need improvement.

The swimming pool doesn't seem to be well maintained. There are rusty screws around the edge of the pool that could easily cut someone's feet, which is a safety concern.

Another disappointment was that the pool bar was never open during our stay. We had to walk to a nearby shop to buy beers whenever we wanted to relax by the pool. While this was certainly the cheaper option for us, it would have been much nicer if the hotel had kept the pool bar open for guests.

Needs handrail on entrance stairs

Staff has changed our rooms when we are out, they have packed our bags, has mixed up all our belongings, 3 pairs of my shoes were missing, medicines of ours were mixed up. Not recommend at all. Can you even imagine hotel staff could pack all into bags and keep in another room when you are not in the room? When I informed to the staff about missing shoes they said they will look into it. But no response, when i emailed to the management they says staff has said to them that my missing shoes have been found in my other friends room which was a lie. Management just apologized but that doesn't make any sense.
