Very disappointed with our stay at Danescourt Lodge
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We booked a room for 5 people and expected the facilities to be suitable for our family, but this was not the case.
We were unable to use the bath properly. After only one person had a shower, the bath filled with water and became blocked. We reported the issue, but nobody came to help us resolve it. This was very frustrating, especially with children and after a long day out.
We also paid for a parking space, but when we arrived, our allocated parking space was occupied by someone else. Although we were refunded the parking fee, this was not the main issue. The problem was that we had paid for a parking space and, when we arrived, we had nowhere else to park and had to find another place ourselves.
The room was also advertised as having daily cleaning, but during our 3-night stay, the room was not cleaned even once.
Overall, we are very disappointed because we paid for services that we did not receive. We expected a much better experience and would not recommend staying here unless these issues are properly addressed.

Great location for the Pleasure beach, etc.
Great Breakfast.
We couldn't get WiFi in the room on the top floor, which left us having to use our phones as mobile hotspot for the kids I pads, therefore using our mobile data, which was garbage because I'm pretty sure you are paying for the privilege as part of your bill. The extractor fan in the shower room is not working either, so if someone does a No2, the room stinks for a while. It's not a great situation when there are 4 people in the room. Mattress on the double bed was uncomfortable, and so my wife and I reckon we got about 1-2 hours sleep. Read the small print on the booking site regarding parking as it has to be booked in advance. Or you will be parked far away.
The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff all welcomed us throughout our stay. The hotel is right near the pleasure beach and water park. It's the second time we have stayed in the family room and we enjoyed our stay again.
There's nothing i didnt like.

Very basic and dated accommodation.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was quiet after 11pm and the rooms were spotless. The overall atmosphere in the hotel was very warm and welcoming. Great for families to enjoy the arcades and beach nearby

The danecourt hotel was great.Adam the owner was brilliant he was really friendly all weekend and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for him.the room was clean with plenty of room and a comfy bed and the bathroom was a good size with toilet sink and with a big shower in it.the hotel is literally a five minute walk to the south pier.and also our grand children loved the play area and games room in the hotel and then at breakfast there was six of us and Adam put us in the second dining room on our own where there was a six seater table and again nothing was too much trouble.Adam the owner really work hard and did his best for us.we’ve stayed in a few hotels in Blackpool and this is the best upto now and we will definitely be staying here again soon.thanks Adam
