Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth

Friendly helpful staff, continently located, clean & spacious comfortable room with everything you could need & want. Breakfast had many options and was plentiful. Exceptional value for the price would come back again.

Only stayed 1 night at the Hampton by Hilton in Bournemouth but would have gladly stayed for longer as it's a super hotel in a great location with clean bedrooms, comfortable beds and lovely staff.

Checking in was speedy and done with a smile, everything was explained to me and up in my room in no time. The room looks like it has been recently refreshed and showed no sign of being over 10 year's old. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and everything looked spotlessly clean and tidy. Soundproofing was excellent as were the blackout blinds so slept like a log. Wifi was pretty good & easy to connect.

The wardrobe was a good size and with a luggage rack, hairdryer and ironing board. There was also a kettle to make tea/coffee as well as a desk area. What I also liked about the room was the amount of space you had, it was generously proportioned and felt light and airy. There was a small crane your neck and you could just about see the sea view from the room too.

The bathroom was fine, the shower was easy to use and choice of shower gel, shampoo & conditioners in the dispensers fixed to the wall and plenty of towels. Decent amount of counter space around the sink but the shaver point was a little hard to reach under the mirror.

Unlike Hampton hotels in the US, the breakfast here was 100% better. Good choice of scrambled egg, hash browns, beans, quite tasty sausages but sadly over baked bacon. There was cereal, fruit, yogurts, cold meat and cheese as well as bread to toast, croissants and a waffle maker, tea & coffee and juice. Everything was being checked and topped up when necessary by the team. Plates were constantly been cleared away once people and finished breakfast and cleaned ready for the next person to sit down and start their day. I was quite impressed by the food offering and the staff looking after the buffet - 10/10

The lobby area had some lovely seaside-themed artwork and felt quite relaxing and a nice place to have a drink and unwind.

There is a secure car park underneath the hotel (£15.50 at the w/e) Remember to keep your ticket with you as you need the QR code to enter the car park the next morning. If you stayed for 2 nights or more you could decline housekeeping and get a £5 voucher to use at the bar or pay towards some snacks.

Considering some Premier Inn hotels in Bournemouth cost the same price as the Hampton, they do not offer a free breakfast buffet so I would definitely recommend staying here over a Premier Inn, it's a no-brainer - I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did !

Breakfast was good. The selection offer was impressive. The food quality was very good. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The staff were friendly and efficient in my view.

Around in Bournemouth for 2 nights relaxing and enjoying the summer, from the moment I arrived, Victor at reception stood out as exactly the kind of person every hotel needs. Extremely helpful, genuinely friendly, and always ready to assist, he brings a level of professionalism and warmth that is not easy to find. Working in hospitality myself, I truly appreciate the difference someone like him makes.

The room (104) was clean, comfortable, and offered a lovely view. The temperature was easy to adjust, and everything felt welcoming and well prepared.
In the morning, the reception team continued the same high standard. Chantelle, Leila, and Hollie were exceptionally kind, smiling, and very inviting, the perfect start to the day.
Breakfast good as a classic full English breakfast .
Overall, a wonderful experience supported by an outstanding reception team.
