I paid twice the weekly rental cost of my 3 bedroom home in Camp hill for a underwhelming apartment

A beautiful location in a generous apartment.
Pros:

The views from the apartment are spectacular and it has a lovely spa and pool area. The apartment is generous in size and its location made walking places easy and enjoyable.

Cons:

The apartment needed a few items replaced which should be monitored when it is cleaned. Reception attended to this promptly but it would be good to have this happen as part of regular maintenance and checking.

Always love the location of Boulevard Towers - prefer a southeast apartment.
Pros:

No. 23 - bed was comfortable and a decent size. Apartment was a bit tired - light missing in the bathroom, sunken drain and broken tiles in the shower, paint peeling over the kitchen sink, grease and dust on the ledge above kitchen tiles, wooden cutting board not cleaned and used aluminum foil in tray in the oven also not cleaned.

Cons:

As above - broken or missing fixtures, very tired shower, broken tiles and a bit more thorough cleaning.

Relaxing, with the sounds of the beach.
Pros:

The location was perfect, we were looking over the beach and a short walk to shops, parks and public transport.
The room was spacious and clean and comfortable and it was unexpectedly quiet for the busy Broadbeach location.
We enjoyed the spa which was lovely and hot

Cons:

The both showers no where to place the soap, which is not a biggie but a bit odd. Though a older visitor might find it difficult to pick up off the shower floor. The main bathroom had a broken towel rail, which we let the gentlemen at reception know about.

Parents - look at other options.

Great view and good location near the beach.

Cons:

When booking the room we were told a cot would be included. We confirmed a cot would be provided a month out from our stay and was told yes one would be available for us to use in the room. Upon arriving at our room late in the day, no cot was there. We rang the hotel through the intercom system and got told one would be brought to us within 30 minutes. One was delivered about 45 minutes later (as we arrived late we had a very grumpy baby ready for bed), only to realise that they didn’t bring us a mattress for the cot.

Our baby slept without a mattress the first night we stayed. The next morning we rang the intercom system again to ask for the mattress and was told that a mattress was not included(???). We then had to drive to a baby bunting 15 minutes away and buy a portacot for our baby to use for the rest of our stay as baby bunting told us mattresses couldn’t be bought separately. This ended up costing us $140 for the cot, plus another $120 to then get the cot back home.

Would recommend parents look at other accommodation to avoid this fiasco.

Apartment photos didn't match accomodation provided. That was very disappointing, and was misleading. Needs to be rectified.
