Very friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom in very good decorative condition, and air conditioning almost too good. We had to turn it off eventually as the room became too cold. The number 28 bus can be caught nearby and this takes you to the Old Town area where the tapas bars can be found. Or the hotel will call you a taxi which costs around €11 to get to Old Town or to the sea front.
Very limited breakfast, though not expensive. No hot food. The area isn't particularly attractive, with the stadium opposite the hotel entrance. There's just the café/restaurant next door and nothing else nearby, and no shops.
Easy to access from Anoeta metro station. A longish walk into centre and old town, but not unplesant.
No tea/coffee in room. Great to stay for 1/2 nights.
The location was good just off the motorway which made it easy to find and drive to. It was a 1.2km walk to the old town but we enjoy walking and seeing the sights on route. The restaurant next door was handy for coffee, food and alcoholic beverages. Secure underground car parking was a bonus. Make sure you reserve a space before you get there.
