Basic accommodation, good staff, great food
Pros:

Friendly welcome and staff were all lovely and helpful. It’s in a great location, with parking spots right at the door. Food in restaurant was really good.

Cons:

Very tired looking, restaurant and bar area pretty unattractive which is a shame as food was excellent. Room was fine, very basic. Clean enough but silly things missed like bathroom bin not emptied, sticky stain on bedside table.

Superb restaurant, good location for visiting surrounding area
Pros:

The location was ideal for a one night stay. Staff were welcoming, in particular Ellie and Jacob who were jolly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which we would highly recommend.

Cons:

The hotel decor was tired. Our room was extremely hot and stuffy which didn’t promote a good night’s sleep.

Przemiły personel, właściciel bardzo komunikatywny. Śniadanie dobre. Blisko do okolicznych atrakcji.

Cons:

Hotel wymaga remontu. W pokoju i łazience zdecydowanie przydałaby się renowacja. Moją koleżankę pogryzły pluskwy, które prawdopodobnie mieszkają w fotelu, bo w łóżku nie została pogryziona.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food.
Pros:

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The optional evening meal was excellent, freshly cooked with local produce. The breakfast was also excellent with a good choice from the menu.

Chambre moderne, bon resto.

Cons:

Emplacement en bord de route, le plancher qui bouge quand des gens passent dans le couloir, la ventilation motorisée qui sortait devant notre fenêtre. Ronronnement toute la nuit.

I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area
Pros:

I booked into this hotel with a buddy as we were participating in a local cycling event. It is located about 4 miles from Pitlochry. Our room was large, clean, lovely and undergoing minor improvments, as is the hotel itself. A bonus for us was the fact that we could have dinner here too which we did. The food and service is excellent. The staff are engaging and value for money factor was high.
I also needed a bit of assistance with an issue which arose, completely unrelated to the hotel but Paul the proprietor went miles out of his way to assist me. The bar has a nice selection of whisky and the locals are great characters too.
We would definitely stay here again.

Friendliest and best stop over in the area
Pros:

Perfect location for a stop over while touring. The team were exceptionally helpful and friendly and made a great roast dinner for us on Sunday when the restaurant was closed.
