It has been improved since the last time we stayed here. The room was spacious and comfortable. A Gym with good equipment is available. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Voucher covered most items off the restaurant breakfast menu. We look forward to our next stay.
Breakfast was good
Location also was good
Clean comfortable inviting
The mattresses could have been flipped over, or changed, too soft, always struggling to keep from falling in the centre of bed!
Pretty hard when you are 2 people in the same bed
The staff were helpful and nice.
Internet is slow. Our first room AC was not working but moved us to a better room.
Location. Breakfast was good. Shower pressure.
One room booked, the AC was not working. The other room we ended up in, the AC was working but we turned it off but the room stayed cold the whole time. Never had heat properly.
We didnt know there were 2 hotel buildings. One, breakfast is continental and started at 5am. The one we were in was a sit down breakfast, started at 6am, but we never told it started at 7 on Sunday. Considering we were there for the bird count and had early mornings, the sit down breakfast didnt work for us with a 7am start time. 6am did work, but only because we didnt do the first early morning activity.
Hot tubs were not working in either location.
Breakfast felt like a scam, had to pay some money out of pocket, on their website they said free Breakfast.
Room stink of cigarettes bathroom faucet are nasty
Location was great and convenient for work and eating out.
The bathroom was small, in terms of access with closing the door. I felt the hallways were dated. The price per night didn't reflect the cost compared to other hotels.
It was old and dated. Could not have ground floor as there was no air conditioning. Pipes banged all night loudly.
When our air-conditioning wasn’t working the front desk clerk was nice to give us a fan and try to move us to another room.
The shower doesn’t work properly. It was like having a bath and a shower at the same time. The hotel smells like pee, mixed with flowery fragrances to cover it up.
The mirror light cover of washroom suddenly fell to the ground in the midnight.
The breakfast was o ly for one guest. The other had to pay. The staff in the restaurant was awsome
When we booked the stay ,we requested to have the main floor. When we got the confirmation about our room we seen it had no elevator so I called and requested a room on the main floor. I told them that I have MS was don’t do stairs very well they said it would not be a problem to get a room on the main floor. When arrived they put us on the second level we again told them that I had requested the main floor , she was so rude said they did have anything on the main floor. That I would loss my deposit if I canceled so we went to our room . It had no blow dryer no coffee. Went down and asked if they could please find a dryer said they don’t have on for that room. Again mentioned about the stairs asked if they could move us closer to the stair so I do t have to walk to the other end of the building after doing the stairs , our room was closer to the stair it made it a littler easier to get to our room. Still no coffee in room. The bathroom was very dirty have photos to show. Good thing we were only in our room To sleep
Quiet
Older bathroom shower unit didn’t work and plug in tub needed to be assembled to work
The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
And they have a nice little Arboretum with Coi fish. My daughter liked feeding the fish.
I’m not saying it’s janky, but there seems to be a haunted, abandoned/locked down strip club called “spin” attached to the hotel with the neon still flashing and light are on like they are open business.
The TVs in both rooms we booked were not working and there are no phones in the rooms, so you have to walk all the way to the front desk for assistance.
and the floor in my family’s room constantly felt like it was damp
And some of the restaurants staff were a bit rude
