A lovely place to stay despite access challenges.
Pros:

The property was charming in a well-renovated building. Being located in the old town meant it was close to all the tourist services. The manager, Eleni, was very helpful.

Cons:

Access to parking is restricted, even in May it was difficult to find a park nearby. The Police in Rethymno are quick to fine cars which makes booking in and unloading luggage a challenge.

The very early house in the centre of the old town and the welcome from an original owner of the property, plus the delightful conversion to suit modern needs while keeping the essence of the ancient building.

Pros:

Très bel hôtel dans un beau bâtiment classé en plein centre-ville. Parking aisé en dehors de la vieille ville (le long des remparts) et un personnel très accueillants. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre court séjour.

Cons:

Parfois un peu de bruit la nuit mais rien de très embêtant.

Pros:

Our room was elegant and spotless. This mattered more to us than the small size--excepting the bathroom, which was quite large! Eleni, the proprietor, was lovely and welcoming. The location was prrfect, close to free parking and on one of the quieter alleyways.

Beautiful property, perfect location, fantastic host
Pros:

The property is lovely. Our room was amazing. Comfortable and had everything we needed. We met the host and she was so friendly and helpful. Check-in process was easy and the location is perfect for exploring the old town. If we returned to Rethymno, we would definitely hope to stay here again, if she’d have us :)

Classic Style Hotel
Pros:

Hotel is in a former Venetian Governor's Mansion and you can tell. It had wood floors and beautiful wood ceilings. Bed was very comfortable and a nice hot shower. Located in the scenic old town near everything. Our room had a beautiful four poster bed. The hotel deserves more than a 3 Star rating - best 3 Star we have ever stayed in.

Cons:

No elevator, occasional loud music from nearby street (but not every night). Otherwise, no complaints.

We would definitely stay at Leo’s hotel again if we visit Rethymno . We loved the place
Pros:

Everything was excellent. Eline who was our host was lovely and caring. She made every effort to make sure we were comfortable. Location was great and the bed and bathroom were very clean and comfortable . We could not have asked for more

Personnel très aimable et disponible, avec de bonnes suggestions. L’hôtel est situé en plein cœur de la vieille ville, où tout se fait à pieds en moins de 5 minutes.

Cons:

Étant en plein centre, il y a pas mal de bruit dans la rue.
