We had villa 1, it was really nice, private pool and Great bedrooms.

The staff’s manager spoke English well, the employees were friendly and happy to help.
The beach needs a clean up. The hotel, especially bathrooms need renovation. Food was below average and the breakfast was awful.

No hay toallas suficientes en la zona de playa. El aire acondicionado de la habitación JP2 era insuficiente para el área que tiene el cuarto. Café se acabó en el desayuno y no volvieron a traernos. Muchas moscas. Fuimos por un cumpleaños y pedimos el servicio de decoración y no lo tenían listo, improvisaron e igual lo cobraron. Cuando uno pide algo toca estar encima de los trabajadores porque si no no llega.
El lugar combina perfectamente el confort con el respeto a su contexto, es un espacio increible para descansar, pasar un tiempo en familia y relajarse. Las instalaciones estan en constante mantenimiento, hay un cuidado por cada detalle que me parecio especial. La relacion con las comunidades del lugar y el concepto de insertarse respetuosamente en el sitio es maravilloso. La limpieza y la atencion de todos los colaboradores es especial.
Sugerimos tener alguna tecnica para el control de las moscas en el desayuno, algo que sea estetico y funcional, centros de mesa de vidrio con agua, botellas colgantes de vidrio con agua como si fueran lamparas (de dia), podrian funcionar y con un lindo diseño se verian geniales con el concepto del lugar.
Mas opciones para los niños en el menu infantil tambien podriamos sugerir

The location is easy from Cartagena - a short boat ride from the mainland port over to the island of approx. 20 minutes - making it possible to travel back and forth to Cartagena should you want to. This was not necessary for us, as were already staying in Cartagena before and after this stay, and we chose to come over to Tierra Bomba for a couple of days.
The hotel is very tired, and needs a lot of maintenance to bring it up to the same standard as the photos on Booking.com. Our hotel rooms were very basic, with lots of things that required fixing or just good cleaning ie. the windows hidden behind blinds in our rooms revealed themselves to have a lot of dirt and mold on them when the blind was pulled up; the extremely small bathroom had things half-hanging off the walls, and under-sink cupboard was hanging off; the 'desk' area was so wobbly that when I was working on my laptop at the desk everything shook and swayed, including the 'wardrobe' which was attached to it! On the beach area, the floor mattress loungers all had rips and tears in them, and so did the beach towels we were given - although on the first day we were there we were told there were no more towels for us (but we'd been asked not to remove the towels from the bedrooms as there would be towels down on the beach!). The pool area is tired and needs a refurb and clean up. Food was OK - although some things were ordered were clearly not high quality: daughter ordered a pizza which was clearly straight from the freezer. The lady manager does her best to be as welcoming and accommodating as she can be, but she can't fix all these things herself. It feels like it needs a fair amount of money put into this resort to bring it up to the standard it should be.

Difficult to say one thing we like.
Horrible place to stay. We left one day before.
First the place is not nice as the photos. The higiene conditions were terrible: the room was full of cucarachas, the moment you were eating anything would come thousands of bow flies around you was disgusting.
You can’t walk in the beach much, once the beach beds finish is full of trash.
They trick you with so many taxes saying in a first moment that you are obligated to pay and after once you question, they suddenly say it’s not.
Service is paralytic.
The beach beds are incredibly dirty, they don’t clean since ages.
Amenities of the room described on booking didn’t exist.
When we arrived there was no towels and we had to beg for hours to get it.
We both got stomach problems with the food that we couldn’t even had dinner any day we were there.
Perfect location for a large group travelling together including children. Great atmosphere and music. Food really good, too considering this is a three star place.
The sea isn’t clean.
The private villa was amazing, perfect for a couple - quiet, comfortable and the swimming pool was a great addition.

Se demoraban mucho en responder la atención, en restaurant y comida en general.. el desayuno muy lento… a medio día ya no habían toallas de playa y había que esperar que llegaran de la embarcación y si es que se acuerdan te las pasan. Los precios de los masajes exageradamente caros con sobreprecio sorprendente.
A cada rato te tratan de hacer sentir bien en palabras pero en hecho no funciona. Deberían cambiar el personal y hacerlo mucho más eficiente.
Por último hubo una actividad para una empresa privada en el hotel y ellos se preocuparon mucho de la atención hacia ellos y nosotros los demás mortales que habíamos allí ni siquiera nos tocaron un tambor. Se notó mucho la diferencia…. La disparidad… y la inequidad..
