Good rooms, food, staff and convenient to John Hunter Hospital
Pros:

Great Queen size room, even though above hotel it was very quiet, very clean and had everything we needed. The check in staff were great. took us out to show us how to get to the parking area, which is behind the hotel in a separate parking lot Dinner was really good and value for money, as was breakfast, and the hotel is close to John Hunter Hospital, so convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Whilst booking.com advise room comes with one parking spot, that is not the case. It is first in best dressed. Parking lot is behind the hotel, with limited spaces. You also have to walk across the lane, and down a slope to the hotel lifts. Probably better if you have large/or a lot of luggage to drop bags off at the front of hotel before parking.

Very highly recommended.
Pros:

The accommodation was above a lovely old pub but was very quiet, well presented and maintained. The staff were exceptional and the food, delicious.

Pros:

Location was perfect . Staff who checked us in (Craig) went above and beyond to show us everything we needed (parking, where to find our room, anything we may need from the Inn).
Room was nice and quiet despite being on top of a pub.
Blackbutt Inn for food was also great.
This will likely be our pick for a weekend stay in Newcastle in future.
