Filoxenia beach hotel<3
Pros:

Tykkäsin hotellin sijainnista upeilla merinäköala maisemilla. Perjaatteessa kävely matkan päässä Rethymnon vanhastakaupungista, toki itse valitsimme taksilla liikkumisen, koska matkassa mukana lapsi. Henkilökunta oli oikein ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Hotellin pitäjä kertoi useamman hyvän paikan missä vierailla ja ohjeita läheisistä rannoista lapsi huomioiden.

Cons:

Ainoa miinus huoneen sänkyjen kovuudesta ja koosta. En tosin tarkasti muista, millä spekseillä huone oli varattavissa sänkyjen suhteen.

Ich habe mich im Filoxenia Beach Hotel vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag wohlgefühlt.
Besonders bedanken möchte ich mich bei Eva. Sie hat mich jeden Morgen freundlich begrüßt, hatte immer einen Tipp parat und war bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle. Als sie mich zum Abschied sogar umarmt hat, musste ich lächeln. Man merkt einfach, dass hier Menschen arbeiten, die ihren Gästen wirklich das Gefühl geben, willkommen zu sein.
Das Frühstück war für mich ein echtes Highlight. Viele der warmen Speisen und die verschiedenen Kuchen waren hausgemacht und sehr lecker. Die Brötchen waren jeden Morgen frisch. Wer ein riesiges Buffet mit zwanzig Sorten Wurst und Käse erwartet, wird vielleicht etwas anderes suchen. Wer Wert auf frische und mit Liebe zubereitete Speisen legt, ist hier genau richtig.
Mein Zimmer war sauber und das Bett unglaublich bequem. Geschlafen habe ich hervorragend.
Die Lage direkt am Meer ist wunderschön. Der Strand ist allerdings recht steinig, deshalb würde ich Badeschuhe empfehlen. Mir haben sie jedenfalls gute Dienste geleistet.
Ein kleiner Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste: Die Altstadt von Rethymno ist deutlich weiter entfernt als die oft genannten fünf Minuten. Zu Fuß sollte man eher 35 bis 40 Minuten einplanen. Für mich war das kein Problem, man sollte es nur vorher wissen.
Ja, die Straße vor dem Hotel ist hörbar. Öffnet man die Balkontür, hört man aber oft genauso das Meer rauschen. Und ganz ehrlich: Das Meer gewinnt. 😊

The shower was too small and didn't allow for a proper stance, so showering was a bit uncomfortable and water ended up all over the bathroom

Tolle Unterkunft. Gerne wieder.

Tolle Lage, super nettes Personal, was auch gerne mit Ausflugsempfehlungen weiter geholfen hat. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Parken war kostenlos in 2 Gehminuten möglich.

Cons:

Die Halterung in der Dusche war zum Duschen nicht ganz gut geeignet.
