Very simple, no fuss, not luxury
Pros:

The room had a nice size and a small terrace to relax before the sun went down

Cons:

There was not pool or area to relax! It called Villa & Deluxe, but my room had a different category and was really basic

Lovely rooms and staff but no pool
Pros:

The room was fabulous. The lamps in the room were fabulous. The outdoor shower in the room was fabulous. The size of the room was great. Comfortable bed. Delicious smoothie in a bowl breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Cons:

Well first of all, my Booking filters clearly state that I would like a pool as part of my hotel requests. I even fell for the photo of the pool displayed in the Booking site. When I arrived, there was no pool. Only a rather large plot of land that could easily accommodate a pool. I was told that the pools only exist for the private villas in the back which cost 1.8 million a night. I was somewhat infuriated as the filter for pool was misleading. Shame on Booking for being so misleading. Oceans swims aren’t much good as most of the time the tide is low and the ocean beach is filled with seaweed. Nobody warns one of this…

This was a nice, quiet, clean and well kept homestay villa which was very easy to stay in.
Pros:

The room was lovely. It was clean, well appointed and tea/coffee making facilities supplied. There were even slippers in the cupboard! The bathroom was outside, which was a novelty I thoroughly enjoyed. There was a nice sense of freedom in that!
The private grounds were immaculately kept and created a sense of peacefulness. It was like you were in your own little world.
I caught a Grab bike and went to Sindhu Sanur beach and had lunch in one of their beach restaurant areas. It is a beautiful beach and only a short bike ride away.
I had also booked a late checkout as I had a late night flight home.
If you want a nice, relaxing and quiet place to stay that is about 5 mins walk from the shops/restaurants/bars through a back lane, this is the perfect spot for you.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better but I did ask for the American breakfast, not their traditional breakfast. That was my fault.

Their wireless was quite weak but useable.

Propreté de la chambre

Cons:

Nous avions demandés 2 lits et on nous a donné une chambre avec 1 grand lit. Le petit déjeuner un jour etait froid. Un jour, il manquait les fruits. La salle de bain était une étuve, du au bloc de climatisation qui si trouvait.

Excellent établissement, personnel au top!
Pros:

La tranquillité et la beauté de l’établissement, la gentillesse du personnel, la bonne literie, l’excellent petit déjeuner avec un large choix.

Cons:

Les murs ne sont pas bien isolés, on entendait la télé du voisin. Mais pour 2 nuits ce n’est pas très grave.

Mid range, perfect execution - This is the one you want!
Pros:

A wonderfully comfy bed, good AC, an outdoor shower, a mosquito coil in the room, unlimited access to fresh water…everything had been thought about, all the essentials were covered and done well. Someone even walked me to my room, showed me everything and asked if there was anything else they could do but there wasn’t. They were really friendly, attentive but also relaxed which is nice.

Cons:

A swimming pool would improve the place but I didn’t miss it.

The loft bedroom area gets quite hot during the day. Not a problem for us as we left early and came back in the evenings but something to bear in mind
