A real gem in the middle of Phnom Penh. The decoration is outstandingly beautiful, with an eye for detail everywhere — it felt like a little paradise. The room was excellent: suite-like, very spacious, with a huge balcony and a super comfortable bed. Nothing to criticise about the stay itself; the whole experience was fantastic.
There’s little to fault overall, but the saying holds: the last impression is the one that sticks. At checkout I was surprised and a bit put off. I had already paid and simply mentioned that I’d taken a bag of mango strips (which I paid for in cash). The receptionist took my key, asked me to sit down, and sent housekeeping to verify my statement. I’ve never experienced this kind of distrust in any hotel before, it felt like a small punch in the gut. You’re welcomed warmly and everyone is attentive, yet at the end you’re treated as if you might be hiding something from the minibar, even though they already have your card details.
When we left, no one said goodbye, “thank you for staying,” or “come back soon.” We just walked out. That felt strange.
Also, the on-site prices stood out: $4 for a coffee and $2 for a scoop of ice cream is quite high for Cambodia and out of line with the otherwise reasonable room rates.
Overall still a great place, clearly much more positive than negative. Would I return? Probably yes.

Food was good, location was great.
I was not impressed by the facilities at all. This is NOT a 4 star hotel. For one, the bathroom grout had mold. I wore flip flops in the shower. Then, in the midst of my shower the light went out. Pitch black. I know these are things the hotel doesn’t necessarily have control over but it bothered me. The solution was to bring lanterns from outside in. I had to re- tell the staff next day to get it fixed. Also, I had asked about laundry services which I was told they had. When I brought my laundry down the following morning I was informed the laundry service wasn’t running. I assume this was because of the holiday but why was I not told when I originally asked. Sitting by the pool was impossible due to the bugs.

Breakfast was lovely also & they made us a little travel pack breakfast on our last day as we left early.
Could hear chanting so I went to investigate & found an extensive pagoda across the road & was made to feel very welcome there

Staff are lovely. We arrived late close to kitchen close time, however they cater for us (4 in group).
The AC in the room was perfect, much needed, the bed linen lovely, clean and everything was wonderful.

Power points were random - nowhere near the kettle, one bedside and on the other side on the opposite wall. Trip hazard with a step between the room and bathroom.

The staff was so kind and welcoming, every person from the staff would always smile and greet us. From the waiters at breakfast, the pool, the receptionist and the lady at the spa.
