On booking.com says parking is included yet they charge £10 a night, site where rude and un helpful with this which was disappointing
I visited as my friends were getting married here. It’s quite a beautiful hotel with lovely gardens and it was perfect for their wedding. The day was beautiful and the food served was absolutely incredible.
The bar was playing GB News all afternoon — we eventually asked them to change the channel though and they did. Despite the booking flagging “parking included” as a key benefit of booking this room, reception asked for payment twice.

The pool was out of use , which should have resulted in a discount.
There was a £20 charge to park my car!
The lovely outdoor area was closed at 8pm and we were told to go inside on a lovely summer evening.
My friend incorrectly bought breakfast (not realising it was included) and reception made it difficult and time consuming to get it refunded.

Did not like my room over bin yard and noisy recyling, food and linen deliveries from 6 am. Changed room to other side of bin park and next to large hotel extractor. I could hear it all night

Shower was tepid, the controls made no sense. The room was above a conference room, some guy with a booming voice was irritating.

But other than that it was a lovely place to stay and relax.
