Hotel was clean & quiet. Had all the amenities I needed…ONLY a gas station w/ Church’s Fried Chicken and a Jack

Cons:

I am from out of state (came in from NC) I chose hotel b:c of its proximity to IAH AND the fact that there was an airport shuttle. BUT, when requesting a shuttle for my departure on Mar 28, 2026 the front desk told me that it didn’t start until 6am.
I explained that there is a govt shutdown! Passengers are told to arrive 4 hrs before departure. Hampton Inn can’t accommodate their guests for an unprecedented situation that affects the whole country? No sympathy…not her problem.

A nice place to sleep if you’re in Houston for 2 days
Pros:

I like how close it was to the airport and downtown. It was in a quiet area near a Waffle House which is always my go to!

Pros:

Breakfast was just okay. They need more variety. Its very basic

Cons:

The pool wasnt in service that it had some issues. Also i had asked for a crib but when i got there they didnt have any.

Cons:

we were out of power and water for the whole morning, no breakfast, no shower, no electric. It ruined our plans for the morning. i would like a refund for the one day
