Just come back- the location the rooms , the view and the breakfast was awesome.

Incroyable séjour avec vue sur mer à l'archipelagos
Pros:

L'accueil de Stylianos (j'espère ne pas écorcher son nom) était parfait. Nous avons trouvé de la place facilement devant l'hôtel.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit à grand regret car c'était le meilleur hôtel de notre périple. Le bâtiment est comme moulé dans la roche, c'était presque une aventure d'accéder au 7e étage (avec ascenseurs). Surprise en arrivant en haut : mini piscine "semi privée" à l'étage et balcon avec vue imprenable sur la mer. La chambre était bien agencée, avec une vraie séparation entre les 2 chambres.

Magique. J'espère y retourner un jour !

Hospitable experience next to the sea
Pros:

Close to the beach and the old town is 15 mins walk away. Comfy beds, nice sea view from the terrace. Great pool area and there was a wode variety of breakfast some items changes every morning, very delicius, they had plant basef milk as well. The owner Stelios was very kind and looking after our needs.

Cons:

Room service changed the towels every day, which sounds mindful but not so environment friendly, would recommend the drop on the floor if needs to be changed rule.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Archipelagos Hotel in Rethymno. The hotel's location and beautiful views make it a perfect place to relax and fully enjoy your holiday.
The owner, Mr. Stelios, is exceptionally warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about every guest. His recommendations helped us discover many fantastic places and activities, making our stay even more enjoyable and memorable.
If we visit this part of Crete again, we will definitely choose to stay at Archipelagos Hotel once more. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with stunning views and outstanding hospitality.

Prettig verblijf op een gunstige locatie, maar voldeed niet helemaal aan de hoge verwachtingen

Cons:

Komt totaal niet overeen met de foto’s en de bewuste keuze die we hadden gemaakt voor 2 x 1-persoonsbedden en 1 x 2-persoonsbed. Krijgen we alsnog een slaapbank voor onze dochters van 11 en 13, want die combinatie is er simpelweg niet. Terwijl die optie wel wordt aangeboden en de reden is dat we voor dit hotel hebben gekozen. Ook komen de foto’s totaal niet overeen met de feitelijke ruimtes en interieurbeelden. Beetje misleidend allemaal. Tot slot zaten we op de 8e verdieping wat betekende dat je of 3 x met een lift naar boven moest of heel veel trappen moest lopen.

Ontbijt was zeker uitgebreid maar jammer dat ze meer zoetigheid en zaden bieden dan variatie aan vers fruit. Ananas en perzik uit blik bijvoorbeeld niet te eten. Koffie uit de automaat niet lekker, investeer in echte bonen!

Eten bij de poolbar wel echt lekker en snel bereid.

Very good hotel with amazing views and welcoming staff. Great base location for exploring Rethymon.
Pros:

Fabulous views over the coastline from the pool area and the room balcony. Exceptional staff. Sunbeds and parasols always available around the pool.

Cons:

The lack of a bar in the evening was limiting given that the location was a good 15 minute walk away from the Old Town.

Nice place to stay
Pros:

Location was great 700 meters from Old town. Easy to park the car. Room was clean, lots of space and bed was comfortable. People were nice looks like a family run hotel.

Cons:

We were on the 9th floor had to change 3 elevators. There was sulfur smell coming from bathroom yet avoided when leaving window of bathroom open.

הנוף לים

Cons:

רציתי לשתף בחוויה המאכזבת שלנו מהמלון, בתקווה שאחרים יוכלו לקבל החלטה מושכלת.

אנחנו מטיילים בעולם כבר למעלה מעשור, ובכל השנים האלה מעולם לא נתקלנו בצוות כל כך לא שירותי ולא מסביר פנים. לאורך כל השהות הרגשנו שאנחנו פשוט לא רצויים. רוב אנשי הצוות הסתובבו עם פנים חמוצות, כל בקשה נענתה בחוסר סבלנות, והיחס היה רחוק מלהיות אדיב או מכבד.

המלון כלל לא מותאם למשפחות עם ילדים. שיא החוויה היה כאשר בשעת לילה מנהל המלון פתח את דלת החדר של הילדים באמצעות המפתח שברשותו, ללא דפיקה וללא המתנה שיפתחו לו. הוא נכנס לחדר והחל לצעוק על שני ילדים בני 12 ו-14, ואף איים שיזמין משטרה אם לא יהיו בשקט. מעבר לכך שמדובר בהתנהגות לא ראויה, זו הייתה חדירה חמורה לפרטיות שהשאירה אותנו בהלם.

גם בארוחת הבוקר השירות היה מאכזב. בעמדת הכנת הביצים העובדות פשוט התעלמו מהאורחים. כשפנינו אליהן בבקשה להכין ביצים, נענינו בתגובה: “תאכלו מה שיש”. זו אינה רמת השירות שמצפים לקבל במלון.

כדי להחמיר את המצב, ביומיים האחרונים לשהות כלל לא היו מים חמים במקלחת, מה שפגע משמעותית בנוחות שלנו.

לצערנו, זו הייתה אחת מחוויות האירוח הגרועות ביותר שחווינו. לא נחזור למלון הזה, ואנחנו לא ממליצים עליו כלל, במיוחד למשפחות עם ילדים. מבחינתנו, יש הרבה מקומות אחרים שבהם יודעים לכבד את האורחים ולתת שירות ברמה הראויה.
