This was a central and acceptable place to stay and explore the town.
Pros:

We liked that it was close to the food hall.

Cons:

We got lucky and got the last parking spot in their garage. Otherwise the parking would have been really difficult. Also there was a fair bit of traffic noise.

Fine For What It Is
Pros:

We’ve stayed here twice for quick, reasonably priced overnights. The rooms are small but clean. The decor is dark and minimalist. Parking is limited but complimentary. The hotel is well located and walking distance to everything you’ll want to see and do in downtown Reykjavik.

We weren’t impressed with breakfast this time (it seemed scaled back and unappetizing compared to years past). They also appeared to be charging extra (at breakfast) for cappuccinos or anything beyond the weak drip coffee available for self serve.

The hotel is totally fine for what it is. (Just understand that it’s on the basic side.)

Really liked this hotel, it was comfortable and location was great. Breakfasts are a highlight.
Pros:

Breakfast was exceptional, such a great variety of food and lots of space to sit. Room was big and comfortable and warm. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of many attractions.

Cons:

Only downside is parking as there are limited spaces under the building. If you arrive back at the hotel after 6pm, the under hotel parking is usually full and you need to find a space outside in the allowable kerbside parking areas which are scarce.

Quiet location but parallel to Laugevar street downtown and only 10minute walk to the church and other sightseeing spots. Has its own secure garage style parking

Cons:

Curtains need to be blackout in addition to the blinds.

Pros:

Nous avons aimé le style moderne de la chambre ainsi que les équipements mis à disposition (petit frigo, caféteièere et bouilloire avec tout le nécessaire).
Nous avons également apprécié sa localisation proche du centre ville ainsi que le garage sous-terrain.

Nice hotel - with fans!
Pros:

We rented 2 rooms for our stay. The hotel is clean and inviting. The staff was very helpful. It was a little warm in our rooms and we were pleasantly surprised to have fans available in the rooms when we checked in (one was tabletop, the other was floor standing). Hotel breakfast was good. We had a rental car and parked underground. The staff allowed us to leave the car in the underground area for a couple of hours past check in so we could walk the city before leaving for the airport. Would definitely stay here again.
