A fantastic stay in a great Munich location with comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
Pros:

Excellent location in the heart of Munich with easy access to transport, restaurants and the city centre. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxed.

Cons:

We stayed on the 5th floor directly below the rooftop bar on level 6. Before the bar closed at 10pm, we could hear chairs and furniture moving from above, but otherwise we had a great stay.

An historic gem at a fair price -- with what may be the only free mini bar on the planet!
Pros:

Deutsche Eiche is a unique property--very gay forward/friendly, but welcoming to all. The staff are delightful. The restaurant is outstanding and open at all hours of the day and evening. It's a great value in a fabulous location.

Pros:

Good location. Parking available. Friendly staff.

Cons:

We were given a room that had been cleaned but had a different guest’s property inside. The staff did their best to address the situation by removing the property and cleaning the room but we didn’t feel secure after we realized the other guest might still have access to the room if they were able to get inside after the cleaning. Additionally, not a deal breaker but parking is not onsite. It’s roughly a 7 minute walk to the garage.

Hotel good, some staff less so!
Cons:

The staff in the restaurant were verbally rude to me. One of the staff placed his hand firmly on my back on two separate occasions. Both times I hold him not to do that. I received no apology!
