The hotel’s main advantage is its excellent location, right in the city center and very convenient for exploring the area.

However, the facilities and rooms feel outdated and could really benefit from renovation. The most disappointing part of the stay was the breakfast, which was very basic, offered little variety, and fell below expectations.

Overall, it’s a reasonable option for a short stay of one or two nights, especially if location is your priority. However, several aspects need improvement to provide a better guest experience and meet expectations.

Hôtel défraîchi
Pros:

La situation géographique est pratique. On est près du lac et il y a des bus et trams dont un bus direct pour l'aéroport de Genève.

Cons:

Hôtel vétuste. Décor à refaire. Fenêtres sans sécurité.
L'hôtel ne m'a pas envoyé de Geneva Transport card avant mon arrivée (alors que tous les hôtels le font toujours). Le réceptionniste ne parlait pas français.
Le petit déjeuner est assez médiocre avec du café en thermos et de la salade de fruit en conserve. Le pain est correct.

Pros:

Sijainti oikein hyvä, lähellä keskustaa ja vanhaa kaupunkia, kaksi ratikkaa vei hyvin läheltä keskustaan. Maksullinen aamiainen ihan ok ja riittävä päivän aloitukseen.

Affreux, inhospitalier, arnaque

Cet hôtel est un scandale pour le voyageur.
Je suis arrivée à 23h, ma valise perdue dans un transfert. Aucune affaire. J'ai demandé une brosse à dent et un tout petit tube de dentifrice de dépannage.
Le lendemain , au petit déjeuner très médiocre, une eau appelée café... J'ai demandé un double expresso puis un simple.
Quand j'ai quitté l'hôtel,on m'a présenté une facture de 30€ pour la brosse à dent et le café.!!!!
J'ai refusé de payer la seconde.
Et au vu de tout ça, sans compter que tout est déplorable dans cet hôtel, j'ai annule auprès du concierge une nuit pour la semaine suivante , réservée et payée à mon arrivée.Non remboursée !!!!

Disappointing: Room I booked in advance was given to someone else

Breakfast, room equipment, service, friendliness of staff

Cons:

My room was given to someone else even though I booked and paid in advance. I had to sleep in the lobby until 4:00 in the morning to get a room after another person checked out, because all other hotels in the city were fully booked. I was not offered any compensation.
Furthermore, there was a mouse next to the trash bags near the breakfast table

Poor quality neglected hotel and facilities
Pros:

The fittings in the room were broken or inconvenient, ie plug nowhere near desk, bathroom door jammed against bed, taps nearly falling off, new staff directing me to wrong floor, no knowledge of area, trams screaming down the road every 5mins, no WiFi code provided, no reception answering

Great staff. Hôtel AC failed during stay and was miserable.

Cons:

I have submitted a request for refund to booking.com with no response. The hotel AC did not work during 3 night stay and temperatures were 34c. Room was unbearable. Very disappointed in Booking.com.
