Pros:

Staff attentive, particularly at breakfast.

Cons:

Dated and grubby room. Dust and cobwebs. Described as 'deluxe'. Lots of small issues which need addressing. Also, party/event at location which went on to midnight and kept us up till 1.30 when the last people went past room, corridor door very noisy, can be easily fixed. It would have been nice to have been told on arrival, but nothing said. I would have provided constructive feedback on departure but no one asked. A shame, as this hotel should be much better.

Ok lodging with a nice old facade
Pros:

Nice old place, excellent shower, tea and coffeemachine, pads, milk in the room, enough parking space. Instead of the english breakfast we were longing for, a lunch bag was iffered to us with a small drink, an apple, banana, croissant and a little marmalade. That was friendly.

Cons:

My matrass was way to hard to comfortably sleep on. No breakfast possible before 08.30, which was way to late for us in order to reach the ferry of 10.15. The toilet most often kept on flushing, did no stop automatically. Had to get out again twice after I had used the toilet in the middle of the night. Location had no interesting surroundings, nothing to do. Canterbury, which we visited was a one hours drive away for instance.

Great breakfast
Pros:

Had a great one night stay at this hotel. Simple clean room. The highlight was the lovely English breakfast, it was abundant and cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly and welcoming

We enjoyed our stay and the service we given.
Pros:

Breakfast and dinner outstanding.Wide choice on dinner menu. Dined there all three nights.
Nice room but very dark. Disabled shower chair fell off the wall.No one sitting on at the time!

Cons:

The condition of the shower curtain and the dodgy shower chair.The curtain was dirty and smelly.
