Great location. Very comfortable mattress and pillows. Quality bedlinen. Delicious breakfast. Lovely staff. Cheerful and friendly.
The building is old - made up of several buildings and the interior is a bit of a maze inside as a result. Corridors and stairs are dingy with well worn carpets. Our room (number 2) was clean but 'tired' - creaky windows and faded curtains, but whole pub / hotel is scheduled for a full refurbishment next autumn / winter and I look forward to visiting again next year.
The location of the hotel is superb - right at the edge of the harbour in the centre of the village. The room was larger than expected, tastefully decorated with a spectacular view over the harbour and estuary beyond. Breakfast was served at the table and was excellent.
Parking is hit and miss - we arrived on a busy bank holiday weekend and the public car park directly opposite the hotel indicated it was full but we were lucky to get a space as someone left. Had that not been the case it is quite a long walk with luggage to the next car park.
Die Lage in Padstow, direkt am Hafen ist Top, gebührenpflichtiger Parkplatz, ist gegenüber vom Hotel,
sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, gutes Pub Essen.
Das Hotel ist ein kleines Labyrinth, man muss sich den Weg gut merken, und man sollte gut zu Fuss sein.

Keine der zahlreichen Fotos stimmte mit dem Zimmer überein, das uns zugewiesen wurde. Eine Abstellkammer mit Blick auf den Innenhof, Schmutzige Scheiben und kaum zu öffnen. Badezimmer mit 24h Kompressorgeräusch.
Was hier auf Fotos angepriesen wird sieht in der Realität anders aus. Meines Erachtens ist das Betrug!
wer also Zimmer 17 bekommt hat Pech gehabt!

Nothing. Filthy, grimy, grim, dark. Our room (em 17) had wallpaper peeling from the ceiling, chipped and worn paintwork, the window frame was rotting, the window pane was filthy, mould on the walls, cobwebs on the inadequate and dated light fitting, dust on the socket, dust floating from the picture frame, the door to the room we were allocated didn’t close properly. The carpet was old and dirty. The room was painted dark green. We left 2 hours after checking in.
Amazing location, lovely large room with everything you could need. Very clean and tidy. The bed was super comfy and very large, it was a very nice stay and would love to return. Breakfast was also lovely, lots of options and cooked very well, high quality!
The room was very warm and the light drenched the bedroom at 5am. It would be amazing if the property had black out blinds made to fit the windows to offer a more comfortable nights sleep during the summer months. The water pressure in the shower was also really poor. Despite these very small things we would high recommend the hotel. These things are more feedback rather than things we ‘didn’t like’

The rooms were a bit stuffy, warm. In our room there was a strong kitchen smell
Very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. The cooked breakfast selection was excellent. There could have been a better selection of fresh fruit to start with. There were fresh strawberries for three days and then none!
The positioning of the hotel was great
Obviously, when one is 80+ the lack of a lift to our floor (2) was challenging,

Breakfast was good
We stayed in Room 11. The looked tired and the sliding sash window needs decorating. The room was advertised as a Standard Double Room, the bed was two single beds pushed together with a dip in the middle.
For £197 it was very disappointing.

We stayed with our 2 children and loved the overall experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and our rooms were fantastic, very clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the town.
Good location main reason for booking.

Some areas needed some general maintenance
ie decoration and carpets,apart from that our stay
was fine.
