Mostly the staff, and in particular, Clare, very efficient, very professional, and the same time, very pleasant, as they say, she went the extra mile, to try to solve my problem.
Dinner was very good, breakfast not so much.
The fact that, I had to pay for the carpark, through a app, I have been in many hotels, and when I had to pay for the carpark, the hotel provided, that service.
The room, is large, but the decoration, its a bit dated.
Overall, it was ok, but if I ever need a hotel in Cambridge, probably I will look somewhere else.

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The majority of the staff were lovely and accommodating. However, I did notice a lack of staff presence at certain times, which slightly impacted the experience.
Our two-day stay was pleasant overall, though a few issues are worth mentioning. On check-in, the manager made a point of informing us that we would have to pay £10 for parking because we had booked through Booking.com rather than directly with the hotel. It wasn't the policy itself that left a slightly sour taste — it was the unmistakable glee with which it was delivered, as though my booking choice had personally offended him and this was his moment of sweet revenge.
The English breakfast was lovely, though the mushrooms were flat, dry and looked suspiciously like a photocopy of a mushroom — all appearance, no substance. The muesli, meanwhile, was so rock hard it was like trying to chew through concrete. There is an overall sense of penny-pinching to save costs, and it shows in the details.
The wall behind our headboard was not soundproof, so we found ourselves whispering in our room while enjoying our neighbours' conversation in full — whether we wanted to or not. It was less "hotel stay" and more "involuntary podcast."
Other than that, all was good. That said, I personally will be booking into a Premier Inn next time I'm in Cambridge.
