Staff all very nice, great choice at breakfast, freshly made
Grounds very well kept, general maintenance on the outside woodwork and a lick of paint wouldn't go a miss.
Good food and clean and quiet.
£10 per night parking charge
Excellent place for a Spa break. Excellent room and Spa with swimming pool Gym and Spa separate from main building.
Location not easy to reach via public transport (Uber was around 15-20 mins front Cambridge North Station. So if you want to visit Cambridge itself you may struggle. Also the A14 does cause noise when outside
The thought was better than reality
Run down, tired, young staff not well trained or supervised.
The room was excellent - a very comfortable bed and a roomy bathroom with all that we needed. We were on the second floor where it was quiet with a television on the outside wall; so no fear of upsetting anyone else when it was on.
Our overall impression was of a hotel that wanted as much money as it could get out of us. We had to pay an additional £10.35 to park overnight and there was a 'discretionary' service charge of 12.5% added to our restaurant bill. Was it 'discretionary'? The only place where we found mention of this charge was at the bottom of the Children's Menu in our room - not on the menu we were given. This spoiled all the other offerings that the hotel provides. In the end, it wasn't 'value for money' and we will not return
The spa was great.
Beautiful location
Room was a bit dated...carpet grubby in places and loose. Could not even get a biscuit with a coffee at 11am
Lovely hotel and great stay thank you
Nothing to mention
Staff and facilities are very good
Hate the way you have to pay for parking, puts me of going to the hotel again unfortunately.
The bed in the room was very small

Some road noise, but didn't spoil the stay.

Lovely old water mill. Rooms mostly on ground floor, which was very good for me.
Food excellent
Parking very confusing - and expensive - I needed disabled parking, but signage was poor.
Very hot rooms with no a/c
