J’ai été surpris lorsque j’ai eu accès à ma chambre que la serrure était arraché et pas réparé je n’ai pas eu le temps de le signaler car je suis resté qu’une nuit .

Unfortunately boiling hot... could have done with fan/air-con.
The room was very presentable and the hotel is in an ideal location.
The selection of snacks and hot drinks in the room was very generous and the brownies on arrival was a great gesture.
We had two issues with our stay.
Firstly there was no air con in our room which made sleeping almost impossible. A fan was provided although it was full of dust and spread across the room when switched on.
We are aware a heatwave is something that can't be avoided and the fan was great to have, but air con would have made the room a lot more comfortable.
Lastly, the hot tap in the room was loose and we managed to soak the floor by accident when turning it on.

Camera moderna e confortevole in una struttura affascinante proprio perchè storica. Hotel pulito e attento alle necessità degli ospiti (ventilatore, acqua, snack di benvenuto...). Il pub di cui fa parte è accogliente e un ottimo punto di riferimento. La vicinanza alla stazione permette di raggiungere il centro di londra con collegamenti frequenti. Quartiere residenziale tranquillo con servizi base nelle vicinanze. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Non adoro la moquette perchè la pulizia non può essere scrupolosa, ma penso che in UK sia inevitabile. Non è ovviamente una struttura pensata per il gran caldo di quest'estate: la finestra si apre in modo limitato e l'aria condizionata è assente. Se si vuol visitare il centro di Londra bisogna considerare il tempo ed il prezzo del treno.
Room was lovely, well designed and very comfortable. The pub served us a fantastic evening meal before our stay. Very convenient for the rail station.
A little noisy, but that was because we had to keep the windows open because of the temperature.
Jättemysigt hotell ovanpå supermysig pub! Perfekt läge om man vill ha lugn och ro men ändå närhet till storstad. Väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Smakfullt inredda rum, pub och uteterass. Återkommer gärna!
Staff were friendly. Location is close to Hither Green train station and other local shops. The pub on the ground floor is large, open, and provided a really nice breakfast. Our room was on the top floor so we got a nice breeze through the windows and we didn't have any issues with noise.
Three issues:
1) The bed is not a 'large double' as the booking describes... It is a standard UK double bed, which is not the same as a king size double, and this was a disappointment when we arrived.
2) The room looked tired and could use redecorating. Lots of marks on the walls, stains in the carpet etc.
3) Room needs a deeper clean. There were cobwebs around the ceiling and dust on the lamps.
Lovely hotel!
We were travelling from Stansted Airport to Crystal Palace Park and stayed at this hotel along the way. What a great choice! The welcome in the restaurant was very friendly, and the check-in was smooth and pleasant as well.
The hotel has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and we immediately felt at home. Definitely a great place to stay when you’re in the area!
Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, great location, good tea and coffee facilities. The room was quite hot so very pleased to have a fan.
The bathroom lighting was quite dim and impractical (I’ve stayed in several different rooms over the years, and they all have this issue). No hand shower attachment. No blind in the bathroom, despite overlooking the pub garden.
Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely pub with great atmosphere. Comfortable room and lovely toiletries provided. Close to public transport links.
Lovely staff, good location and great breakfast. For a couple nights stay it was perfect. Wish I'd had more time to hang about the pub. Would book again for sure.
Room could use a little sprucing up. My bathroom was a bit grubby and smelt like bad drains, so much so I thought someone had left evidence behind in the loo!
The set up for the tea and fans etc was lovely and thoughtful but with only one plug socket in that area it was difficult to use them as I'd have to get under the table to change plugs, something I'm unable to do as I have an impairment in my knees. Shame because I'd have liked to have had a cuppa in the evening.
