Hansa Hotel

Im Hansa Hotel wird noch jene klassische Form der Hotellerie gepflegt, die man heute nur noch selten findet: stilvoll, traditionsbewusst und mit einem Gespür für die kleinen Details. Genau das macht den besonderen Charme dieses Hauses aus. Schon allein die Menükarte im Restaurant liest sich wie ein Gedicht.

Für mich ist das Hansa Hotel bei jedem Namibia-Urlaub der perfekte Abschluss der Reise. Es hat Atmosphäre, Geschichte und eine wohltuende Eleganz, ohne dabei steif zu wirken.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Hansa Hotel und waren sehr zufrieden. Aufgrund meiner Knie Probleme hatte ich diesmal vorab eine Mail an das Hotel geschickt mit der Bitte, ein Zimmer, welches mit nur wenigen Treppenstufen erreichbar ist, zu bekommen. Das hat geklappt, wir haben Zimmer Nr 1 im Garten bekommen (über 2 Stufen erreichbar).
Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Auch das Abendessen im Restaurant haben wir genossen. Wir würden das Hansa Hotel wieder buchen

It's a historic hotel, but it’s very comfortable and clean to stay in. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all wonderful.

Hotel maravilhoso, cheio de charme e bom gosto. Quarto excelente, cama ótima, mas o melhor é mesmo a atmosfera. Sala de refeições impecável como tudo o resto e come-se muito bem.

Nous avons été surclassé dans la suite présidentielle de plus de 100m2, le séjour ne pouvait donc qu’être parfait.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff provided exceptional service from check-in to departure and made us feel very welcome. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the dinner at their restaurant was excellent. The location was very convenient, right in the middle of the downtown area with many restaurants and shops nearby.

Das Hansa Hotel ist für mich immer erste Wahl in Swacop! Wir waren schon das dritte Mal hier und werden auch gerne wiederkommen. Alles stimmt von der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, die Bar, das Restaurant und die gesamte Ausstattung im Hotel ist einfach einmalig. Ein Kleinod in Namibia!

Das alte Hotel in kolonialen Still hat eine gewisse Charme. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und bequem.

Breakfast, staff and location

Our stay at the Hansa Hotel was a true example of old-school hotel excellence. The service was exceptional from start to finish, with staff who genuinely made you feel welcome. The Crêpes Suzette, flambéed tableside, was both delicious and a memorable experience not to be missed, as was the colonial coffee, also prepared flambé-style at the table.

The porters were always on hand to assist my elderly parents, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Our garden-facing downstairs room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and quiet — the perfect base for exploring Swakopmund.

La décoration donne l’impression de se retrouver dans les années soixante, avec des photos historiques intéressantes.

Super nice and friendly personnel, taking issues very seriously and taking appropriate measures with no wait, we very much appreciated it and thus felt very welcome and would come back any time.
