Sehr grosse gut ausgestattetes Zimmer
War alles okay, aber nicht aussergewöhnlich
Apart from the reception and dining area there is nothing much to boast about. The rooms were however spacious but the stairs leading up to the rooms were rotting and could pose risks. The greenery in the property is refreshing
Everything. What they sell as ocean view is false. The accommodation & dining are too far from the ocean front therefore limited views and limited access to the beach. The bar at the pool was not operational.
The staff were nice but the service unprofessional & exceptionally slow. It would take over an hour for food to be served. We would have to ask for salt/pepper and even napkins to be placed on the table. The menu was very basic and limited in choice.
There was a massive leakage leaving the room flooded at midnight which can happen at times but shows poor upkeep. The response by the manager and his team only made matters worse. At about 2:00 am we shifted to a new room. There was no apology & even during our departure the manager did not show up.
The entire property needs urgent repairs and upgrade and training for their staff
I had an amazing experience at Kasha Boutique Hotel. The environment was peaceful, beautiful, and very relaxing, the employees were kind, professional, and welcoming, and the hotel is absolutely perfect for a honeymoon. Everything from the service to the atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zanzibar and looking for a memorable stay.
Yes really enjoyed there. Thanks a lot
Nothing
Rachid is was of the best host we had. He met our needs each and every time. His staff were so nice and lovely. The location has a very earthy vibe, feels like walking through nature with. It has a nice view on a hill with a waterside. We also loved the activities we booked through this hotel. The service was as good as Rachid and his staff.
We were a young couple and it is more a location to
Absolument tout. Endroit magnifique, personnel incroyable, bon restaurant.
Stephanie.
the host at reception was extremely helpful and kiind to us. A most professional staff member
Kein warmes Wasser (fürs Haarewaschen bisschen schwierig).
I wish every hotel in the world had this location/price/kind staff.
There isnt a single thing I can write here.
The view from the swimming pool out to sea across to the island is spectacular.
Stanley and Rose looked after us well
Friends had stayed there and recommended it. We since discovered that was in 2010 when it was a luxury hotel. Sadly it changed ownership the following year since when absolutely no maintenance had taken place. The gardens are completely overgrown and the wooden steps to our room are now rotten and dangerous. The aluminium taps and bathroom fittings need replacement. The electrics and water supply kept cutting out during our stay. The food at dinner took at least 75 minutes to appear after ordering and the choice of food very limited. The beach is only visible at low tide, is very small and dirty so there is no chance of swimming in the sea. All very disappointing. With a substantial input of money and TLC it could be great again but for now we would not recommend it.
We wanted to go somewhere peaceful and quiet and Kasha Boutique was perfect. The bungalows are surrounded by lush gardens so they feel quite private. The pool & breakfast area are at the cliff edge and look out to sea, but the hotel is not accessible from the beach at high tide so it feels very secluded. At low tide you can walk down steps onto the sand and access what is essentially a small semi-private beach which only a couple other hotels have access to. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the manager was welcoming and kind, often checking in with us and available for any questions. The surrounding area in general is very chill, low-key and relaxed.
The only thing we felt unprepared for were the frequent power outages – this seems to be a Zanzibar-wide issue and the hotel clearly has a generator but sometimes the power was out for long periods, including a couple times at night. It may just have been helpful to have a little heads up that it might happen. Perhaps small battery powered fans/flashlights would be useful.
