Wonderful hotel and experience. We are returning guests. The property is very clean, spacious and tastefully appointed. Location is 5*. All staff (housekeeping, restaurant and breakfast) are extremely kind and helpful. Front desk staff Naomi and Ben were extremely kind and professional
Naomi at front desk was always very professional and courteous. Others on the staff that I recall are Tina, Ben, Rachel, Katie, Theo if I got the last one right.
Cleaning personnel and restaurant staff also were sincerely welcoming.
Another couple of names that stayed with me were Tracy and Ume. Hope I spelled all names correctly.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the wonderful team for making my stay so memorable.
A special thank you to Ms Tracy & Ms Hannah at the Executive Lounge for his outstanding arrangements and exceptional hospitality. His attention to detail and warm service truly elevated my experience.
I would also like to recognize Ms Umie , Ms Freya and Ms Lab , who took excellent care of me from check-in to check-out. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care made me feel completely at home throughout my stay.
Very good experience at hotel and special thanks to front office staff Bevis , Vickey and Henrry special thanks for great hospitality. Thanks
First time to Vietnam. Good experience. Ha welcomed and gave good clarity.
I loved the hospitality here. The reception (Naomi, Thor, Ha, Cherry and Cathy) have been very helpful in getting an early checkin and this helped us relax well before our business visit. The hotel has a picturesque location that makes it very pleasing to visit.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at **Le Méridien Saigon**!
The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Its location is excellent, making it convenient to explore Ho Chi Minh City. The views of the Saigon River are beautiful, especially at night when the city lights create a stunning skyline. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality throughout our stay.
A special thank you to **Vicky**, who made our visit even more memorable. She welcomed us with such a warm smile and exceptional professionalism. Her English is excellent, making communication effortless, and she patiently answered all of our questions. She kindly helped arrange a room upgrade for us, and we were rewarded with an amazing room overlooking the beautiful river and city. Waking up to that view was one of the highlights of our trip.
Our daughter, who was born and raised in the United States, was visiting Vietnam for the first time. She absolutely loved the adorable **Le Méridien Saigon teddy bear**, which made her stay even more special. It has become one of her favorite souvenirs from this trip.
We sincerely appreciate Vicky's kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests. She truly represents the outstanding service and hospitality of Le Méridien Saigon. We hope the hotel recognizes her excellent work because she made a lasting impression on our family.
Thank you, Vicky, and thank you to the entire Le Méridien Saigon team. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Ho Chi Minh City!
My family and I recently stayed at Le Méridien Saigon, and I felt I had to write this review to express my sincere gratitude—especially to two wonderful Lounge associates, Ms. Tracey and Ms. Umie.
During our stay, we experienced every traveler’s nightmare. My young son accidentally left his mobile phone in a Grab taxi after we got out. We thought it was gone for good.
From that moment, Ms. Tracey and Ms. Umie went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from hotel staff. They spent hours helping us contact the driver, followed up continuously, and even used their own personal phones to communicate and persuade the driver to return the phone. They never treated it as “not their job.” Instead, they stayed with us until everything was resolved. Thanks to their kindness and determination, we finally got the phone back.
What touched me even more was what happened while I was searching for the phone. I were understandably stressed, but the Lounge team kindly looked after my young son so he felt safe and comfortable. As a parent, that meant far more to me than I can put into words. It allowed us to focus on solving the problem without worrying about him.
Our flight home was late in the evening, and the Lounge team also kindly helped us continue using the Lounge before our departure. That extra hospitality made the last day of our trip incredibly comfortable.
While we were waiting, we also had the chance to chat with Ms. Tracey about family life and raising children. We even talked about my son, and they listened like genuine friends rather than hotel staff. Those conversations are something my family will always remember.
Of course, the hotel itself is excellent. The Executive Lounge is beautiful, the food and drinks are very good, and the overall facilities are exactly what you would expect from Le Méridien. But what truly makes this hotel special is its people.
Ms. Tracey and Ms. Umie turned what could have been one of the worst moments of our trip into one of the most memorable. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care are something my family will never forget.
Thank you once again. We are already looking forward to returning to Le Méridien Saigon, and we hope to see both of you again.
Had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Saigon and the Club Lounge was easily one of the highlights. The space itself is elegant and relaxed — great for unwinding after a day out in the city, with a good spread for breakfast, all-day snacks, and evening cocktails/canapés.
Special mention to Freya, who looked after us in the lounge — attentive, warm, and genuinely made the experience feel personal rather than just transactional. She was quick to anticipate what we needed and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
The views over the river are a nice bonus, and the lounge staff overall kept everything running smoothly. Would definitely recommend booking Club access if you’re staying here — well worth it.
I stayed here for four nights on my first Saigon trip three years ago, and the experience was so good that I came back for another two nights on this trip. Part of why I came back was An and Giang (not sure if they're still here), who prepared my room three years ago. The cute card with the flying heart in the attached photo — that's the actual message I got during that stay three years ago. I brought that thoughtful card home and kept it on my dining table for a while. And I'd been missing the hors d'oeuvres, served with such care on the hot stone with a new, creative menu every day.
On this trip I stayed not just at Le Méridien but also JW, Renaissance, Vinpearl Landmark, and Sheraton Saigon — which meant I got to compare all the Marriott properties in Saigon. This is just my personal take, of course, but beyond the hardware — building design, room condition — Le Méridien was the best on the software side too: service, food, everything. If I could only stay at one hotel in Saigon, Le Méridien would be my pick. My heartfelt thanks especially to Ms. Freya at the lounge, who checked in on our satisfaction with the food and gave us such thoughtful, warm, easygoing service. If I come back again, it'll probably be because of Freya.
Le Méridien has been my favorite brand since the Starwood days, and it still is. That whole "unlock creativity" concept runs through everything — the room design, the food menus, even the bakery, which matters most to me. The lounge hors d'oeuvres were just as excellent in taste and variety as they were three years ago.
But the biggest surprise was the bakery at Latest Recipe. The almond croissant was right up there with my favorite — Lune in Melbourne — and the other breads were so creative and tasted fantastic. If you love bread, this place is a pilgrimage site.
Last but most important: the people delivering the service. Freya, loyalty manager Rachel Tang, Henry at the front desk, the bellhop, room attendant Nguyen, the staff member on the Bonvoy chat whose name I didn't catch — everyone I met, directly or indirectly, shaped this experience. At the end of the day, the start and end of any hotel stay comes down to people. The staff at this property don't have that put-on smile — theirs is a kindness that's second nature, built on the confidence that comes from real pride in delivering professional service. I've only ever met people like this in two places: Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, and here. JW's whole "people first" philosophy really just comes down to this — that the people serving guests have to be happy themselves before they can make guests happy. The people working here looked genuinely happy.
I'm leaving with such a great feeling about this stay. I hope to see you all again next time.
Had an absolute wonderful time staying at Le Méridien Saigon!
The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, but the highlight of my trip was definitely the outstanding service. A special mention to Umie, Freya, and Ms. Lan for being so attentive, friendly, and helpful. They truly made my trip memorable!
5 stars across the board—I’ll definitely be back on my next visit to Ho Chi Minh City!
Great location ! Exceptional team at the lounge with Ms Lan, Ms Umie and Ms Anna ! Freya makes the best cocktails - all must ask her to make !
I have been a frequent traveler and stay at different hotel in HCMC District 1. But Le Meridien Saigon really won my heart during my last stayed. The location is great and exploring the city is so easy and especially with the stunning view looking across the river from the lounge area. The Lounge head by both Duty Managers (Lan Nguyen & Tracey) together with the staff were friendly and helped me to check-in without much hassle. Whenever I walked past the lounge and headed back to my room, I am always greeted with a warmly smile from the staff. The daily housekeeping that make up the room was spotless and thorough which the bed was extremely comfortable and a nice sleeping pad with Lavender fragrance for my use during the sleep. The rooftop pool is awesome and definitely a must to go for a swim after a long day of walking. Kudos to the Management team that cultivate such a friendly culture & enjoyable experience in this hotel!!
Le Méridien Saigon has a wonderful location and an outstanding Club Lounge team. Tracey and Hanna are exceptional—they provide true 5-star service, anticipate guest needs, and are the sole reason I return to this hotel. They deserve a big bonus if I were the GM.
Unfortunately, the service desk on the ground floor is a completely different story. Some of the staff is rigid, substandard, and highly unprofessional. When I asked to exchange a 20 USD note for local currency, they refused because of a tiny mark on the bill (which I hadn't even noticed). Rather than trying to assist a guest or offering any practical solution on how to obtain local currency nearby, they just repeatedly quoted internal policy at me. And the hotel manager tried to turn it around like it was my problem.
This narrow-minded approach shows a total lack of flexibility. Policies are meant to be improved and adapted to help guests. Sadly, it seems the ground floor staff are severely lacking good leadership and proper management. If you stay here, stick to the lounge team for actual hospitality.
Very warm welcome from Ben, the front desk staff. Thank you, Ben! Immediately felt like I was at home. Also got very tasty soy bean snacks :))
The room is very spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast also.
They made my Birthday very special. Lovely staff, clean and very organised. Wonderful breakfasts options. 100/100!!!! The river view room was the excellent!!!
The accommodations and staff are among the best throughout the LeMeridien World.
Special thanks to Assistance Club Lounge Manager, Tracey Nguyen. Her warm greeting, excellent service and management style are so sincere and welcoming.
Le Meridien Saigon is the only hotel destination for me when in HCMC.
Our stay at Le Méridien Saigon was comfortable and enjoyable overall. The room was adequate, offering a pleasant space to relax, and the highlight was definitely the nice river view, which added a calming touch to our stay.
Breakfast had a decent selection of food, though the dining area tended to feel a bit crowded during peak hours. While the offerings were sufficient, they did not particularly stand out.
The staff were polite and professional throughout our visit, though interactions generally felt somewhat impersonal. That said, we would like to give special recognition to Huy Hoang, the bell captain, who truly made a difference. His charm, attentiveness, and willingness to assist added a warm and memorable touch to our experience.
Overall, Le Méridien Saigon provides a solid stay with a good location and pleasant views. While there were no standout features beyond the river view and Huy Hoang’s excellent service, it remains a reliable option for a visit to Saigon.
