Pros:

The hotel placement was very good, it was near Little Tokyo, which offered us many options for Asian restaurants and cafés. The train station was also nearby and public transport as well, making it easy to travel around the city.

Cons:

It is very busy and loud at night - which I understand comes with staying in this area. It's not the hotel's fault, but if you are planning to stay here, expect this.

目的にはかなっていたのでOK
Pros:

日本関係のショップや店が多いImmermannstrasseから近くて、ロケーションは抜群でした。

Cons:

ヒーターは消えていたけれど、部屋がすごく暖かくて、暑い日だったので息苦しかった。部屋を涼しくしようと窓を開けたけれど、あまり効果なく、寝るために窓を開けていたけれど、勿論外はずっと叫んでいる人や車、バイクでうるさくてあまり寝られませんでした。同じ階の別の部屋に止まった友人二人の部屋は反対にちょっと冷えている、と言って一人はもう一枚毛布をかりていました。ヒーターがついていないか、何度も部屋で確かめましたが、なぜ暑かったのか分かりません。

I was there for the Japan Day in May and enjoyed my stay there. Very pleasant staff, great location.
Pros:

The location is super; just maybe 50 meters from Immermannstrasse and the Japanese quarter. The nearest subway station is just a one-minute walk, and the train station can also easily be reached on foot.
The staff (all of them) were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious.
There are many restaurants and ice cream/dessert places nearby.

Cons:

Düsseldorf now has a "poser" scene; guys in souped-up cars and motorcycles roaring with loud engines through the city, even late into the night. Unfortunately, occasionally one of them roared along the Oststrasse, past the hotel. With the windows closed, it's not so bad, but for someone with a very light sleep, it might be a problem. The hotel staff don't like this either, but there's nothing they can do about it.
Other than that small problem, there's nothing to complain about.
